wrong item send (just like the other guy!)
LAME!!!! Clearly this item was never checked for QC before it was sent to me! I ordered and paid for an EMG JX set. What I got was one "EMG X", and one standard "EMG" (non active) pickup and no battery connector. Plus the box was previously opened, seals were broken and that was the first flag . . . Needless to say I'm very dissatisfied!

Used item sold as new?
Same story, I received one X series bridge pickup and a 'normal' SJ neck pickup. The box was not sealed, and several connectors were missing for the 9v connections and the leads to the pickups. I have come back to double check if I had purchased a used item by mistake, and this is not the case, what's going on here?

Do not buy
This is still an issue! I saw the other reviews were from 2012 and dismissed them. I ordered a set of JX and the box said JX. I opened the box to find a set of telecaster pickups RTX!!!

Wrong item sent
I paid for an EMG JX set. What I got was a J set MIM replacement. Customer service assured me that the product I was buying the "real thing". I'm so dissapointed.

Aparently I lucked out
I got exactly what I ordered (EMG JX) Jazz Bass pickups new in the box and they sound great.
