milkadamia Macadamia Milk, Unsweetened Barista, 32 Fl Oz (Pack of 6)

I am, once again, placing another order for the Macadamia Nut milk style I first ordered, which is the unsweetened barista. When I re-ordered this the first time, I was sent the wrong style. I was sent the one that is slightly sweetened. It wasn’t bad, but it was not what I wanted nor what I ordered; my order history attests to that. I’ve read other reviews wherein it was stated that the manufacturer will not accept returns. However, if I am once again sent something other than what I ordered from this manufacturer, I will notify Amazon and make a very strong demand that I not have pay for it. That is actually in line with the US postal code regarding the receipt in the mail of anything you have not ordered. We’ll just have to see how this goes. I really do like the unsweetened barista and recommend it as a good milk substitute. have trouble digesting milk easily, so have been looking for a non-dairy drink that I would like in my tea, coffee, cereal, or just to drink by itself. I’ve tried all the alternatives such as almond, oat, coconut, and rice drinks. But was not particularly fond of any of them. Then I heard about macadamia “milk.” It’s not easy to find in local stores, and also not inexpensive. I found this on Amazon and took a chance, so bought the 6 pack of the plain original unsweetened Barista style. And it’s good!! I like to froth my milk for my coffee, and this froths beautifully, and holds its froth. It has a much creamier consistency than any of the other alternatives I’ve tried. I’ve even had it by itself and it’s fine. There isn’t any unpleasant taste or aftertaste to it. recently reordered and made the mistake of ordering the same brand but one that is “lightly sweetened” with cane sugar. The carbs per serving is low enough that I’ve decided to keep it, since I take my coffee and tea sweetened. I may never buy any other type of “creamer” again; I like this that much! If you’re looking for a good milk or non-dairy alternative, give this a try. UPDATE: I just double checked my order and I did not order the sweetened by mistake; it was sent to me by mistake. Just used the sweetened for the first time. By itself, it has a really nice, very lightly sweetened taste. However, it is not as creamy as the Original plain I first ordered, and though it did froth, the Original froths better and holds its froth better. Since I’ve already opened one of the Sweetened cartons, I won’t try to return the other 5 that came in the pack. But next order I will return if sent what I didn’t order. Over all, this is still a very good milk alternative and, imo, better than any other milk alternatives I’ve tried. .

Purchase this product as milk for coffee and cappuccinos. It's delicious! Froths up pretty good and in my opinion is the best tasting milk for coffee products and its also low calorie which is great!

I have been cooking with and drinking MILKADAMIA brand products since they first premiered. Huge fan. I’ve sold so many others on this product including a Nespresso group I follow (when folks ask about the best non dairy milks to use). I buy cases at a time of the Unsweetened Barista maca milk for my morning espresso drink. This is the 2nd time my entire case pack order (first time was two case packs, 12 cartons) was flat regular milk with a few bubbles. I have two frothers-it’s not the frother as dairy milk froths perfectly. The first time I reached out to Amazon who said to contact the seller. So I reached out to Milkadamia and it was about a month before they replied (I re-sent a couple times). Net-net I was told there’s nothing they can do, they mailed me a $1 off coupon (!!!!) and some Milkadamia brand stickers (!!!!!!). Seriously? When I find a product I love, I’m loyal to a fault and yell about it from the highest mountaintop. So I started buying from Webstaurant’s site (paid for shipping) & got my frothy maca milk back. Then I got lazy and back to Amazon ordering. I don’t know if it’s how it is stored but here I am again finishing up my April case pack order of flat unsweetened barista milk. What I see on Milkadamia’s website is not what I receive. The flavor is still the best and no fake ingredients. I wish there was consistency. I wish there was actual customer service. As a product development and manufacturing professional I understand testing, compliance & quality control. Something is happening in their supply chain/transportation/warehousing because this keeps happening. I’m not sending this in an email to them as I have no faith they will do anything about it. Sigh. MILKADAMIA, are you listening? Look at my order history. It’s equivalent to a small coffee shop.

The product itself is SO GOOD. I used to use half and half, but now this is the only thing I like to use in my coffee. Creamy and the flavor tastes great in coffee, even though it’s not much of a flavor it just works well. That being said! I have this on a subscription for this item and 2 times I’ve been sent the wrong product. I order the “unsweetened barista” and I received the regular “unsweetened” twice now! And I would have been fine with that if they tasted similar but the regular unsweetened was NOT good in my coffee. Very different taste so I really only like the barista blend. Aside from that, the price went up about $15 dollars overnight!? I was paying $26 and now it’s $41!?!? That’s crazy… Cancelling the subscription and looking for a cheaper way to buy it.

I'm impressed! I am someone who drinks matcha often and I was looking for a milk that doesn't overpower the matcha's flavor profile. I am a big fan of oat milk but sometimes the flavor is too much and masks the matcha flavor. Macadamia nut milk has a very neutral flavor. I would describe it as similar to almond milk but less nutty and bitter. I think the barista edition has the perfect amount of creaminess that I am looking for to pair with matcha latte. Macadamia nut milk is now my new favorite non dairy! I will be continuing to purchase :)

So the first 2 shipments (cases of 6) were great--frothed nice and creamy for coffee. The last shipment-it does not froth at all. The ingredients appear to be the same, so I don't know what the story is. I've sent 2 emails over the past 3 weeks (gave adequate time to respond I think) to their Customer Service with no response. I suspect they are putting the "normal" milk(not Barista) in there and are still charging the Barista price, which costs significantly more. Very disappointing, not only the milk, but their lack of response. I'm giving it 2 stars only because I do like the taste. I just ordered the Lechia brand (organic, which is better/seems to be better ingredients, and I'm hoping this froths up!), so I'll see how that goes. I'm not the first one to notice this if you look in the question and answer section.

One of my favorite milks! Taste is delicious, is very light weight, not inflammatory, and since it's shelf stable lasts me a really long time. Definitely recommend as an alternative to dairy.

Arrived in good condition, with all the boxes and works great for what I need it for. The milk foams well for coffee, had a good consistency for lattes and I don't have any complaints.

The barista blend foams up like a dream and is the perfect choice for a latte. It has a lovely, mildly sweet scent. Not a "nutty" flavour as I've found with most nut milks. This one rocks! Makes an absolutely perfect green tea latte.

After passing through several types and brands I gave this one a chance. Great texture and non invasive taste. Pricy but Great product. Would recommend

The taste is great. It just doesn't mimic the bitter blocking role of milk in espresso drinks. Depending on what you like or what you're looking for in coffee, this may or may not be the drink you're looking for. My parents love this since they really are after the unfiltered boldness of coffee. I prefer to keep this away from espresso but prefer it for tea lattes. It can be steamed for latte, although more difficult to reduce it into microfoam. Just have to be a bit more aggressive with stretching it. It's true that it lets the coffee notes shine through, but this also means the resulting drink is going to be less forgiving if you haven't dialed in your espresso yet. Ingredients are a lot cleaner than some of the other non dairy milk alternatives I used for lattes.
