French Countryside Oak/ White 42" Round Pedestal Table by Home Styles

I was browsing the internet for a French Country style table to add to our kitchen as in a breakfast nook, because it would accommodate guests/children without and prevent crowding at our regular dinner table... we are a family of six. This table came pretty soon, packaged very well, with Prime shipping, which is a huge bonus. It was easy and quick for my husband to put together (matching chairs took longer). The table is beautiful and sturdy. I feel we could very easily fit 4 adult guests at it as an extension of what we have. If need be, 4-5 children could sit around it, too. They love it. Very well made piece of furniture, and just beautiful. I had not been pleased with many other options/prices as far as French Country styles go. Thanks, manufacturer! :) :) --Chairs are a bit more complicated to put together, but sturdy and just elegant/beautiful. They matched our other table and chairs, which are more of an American country/cabin style.

I've been searching for a 42-46" round wooden kitchen table for MONTHS when I came across this Pedestal table by HomeStyles. I was apprehensive about assemble-it-yourself furniture, but since I was having such poor luck finding a table at our local furniture shops, I decided to take a chance. This table is great! It has a much higher quality look than most put-it-together furniture, and was easy to assemble. The table is heavy and well constructed. All the pieces fit together perfectly, and the hardware was a cinch to handle. I assembled the table in under 20 minutes using the included allen wrench. The table came well packaged in lots of protective styrofoam/plastic wrap to prevent scratching during transport. I highly recommend this table for a casual kitchen table, or a small dining table. We bought the matching chairs as well, and are also very pleased with them.

I love this table. I was very nervous buying the table without seeing it and getting a feel for it. I was looking to replace a counter height dark wood table and dining set and this is perfect. I was looking all over for this type of table without spending a fortune. I am so glad I finally found this and decided to take the chance. The only thing I would have loved more is if it had a butterfly leaf to make it a little larger for guests. But I still love it. It wasn't difficult to put together. I bought the Home Styles 5020-802 Monarch Double x-back chairs and the set is so cute. I was worried the 42" round table might be a little too small but it is just fine for my needs. I really needed to downsize and this is perfect. It's nice and solid and the color is light without being too bright. One of the best purchases I have made this year!

We ordered this table for our beach house. The wood top is lighter than we expected but still very nice. Little to no signs of distress on the top. The base is substantial and inspires confidence that it can hold the table top. A few small brush marks is all the distress that was added to the base. Minor and easily painted over if you don't like the look. Delivery was several days sooner than expected which worked out perfectly for our schedule. The table top box is quite large but easy to unpack and very protective. We did not have any damage due to shipping. Assembly was fast. A small socket or adjustable wrench will help tighten the bolts but a small toolkit is included. The only negative were the bolts embedded into the legs and which attach through the pedestal. Several bolts were cross threaded making adding the nut difficult. I'd suggest getting all the bolts & nuts started before inserting the legs into the pedestal. This allows maximum ability to re-thread the bolts using a regular wrench. Once this was done the nuts started just fine on the bolts.. I did add a little wood glue where the leg attaches to the base just in case All in all a great table. Very solid, easy to assemble.

What a great find. This was my second table purchase as the first one never showed up. Glad it didn’t because I really like this one. It was a piece of cake to assemble. There’s a little twisty movement if you accidentally grasp the edges but I think we can tighten it down to fix that. The finish is nice. No stinky chemical smell like other furniture I’ve ordered. It looks great and fits well in my small dining room. There was one little shard in the bottom of the tabletop that I assume happened in shipping that snagged my pants, but a piece of duct tape over it worked til I can sand it down. No biggie. It didn’t come with chairs, but amazingly mine matched the tabletop finish perfectly. For the price there’s no complaints!

The table is beautiful, just as pictured. The table top is just the color I was looking for to match my cabin's wood beamed ceiling.

Came in 2 boxes at different times, but I expected that from order details. Wow on how they were packaged, cushioned in styrofoam, good directions and all hardware needed, including some spares. Not a nick of damage for coming mail order, sticker says made in Thailand and it's not mdf or laminate that will suffer from use. Can't tell you longevity as I wrote review as soon as assembled. I had hunted online all local furniture stores and other mail order places that advertise free ship. I got on holiday deal, and had found tons of price disparities of junk for a couple hundred to 1-2 thousand for solid wood, highly recommend that this is nicely made, not rickety and no issues from shipping. (Chairs were mine)
