Review: Catfish (and Turtles) Love ‘Em! - Tip: Keep the ziploc bag sealed while fishing to keep the bait moist and soft. This bait worked well for targeting catfish, even with lots of other fish species around. I caught multiple channel catfish and bullhead in a couple fishing trips testing this bait. It’s soft so you do have to be careful not to throw it right off the hook when you cast. A spring treble hook would probably work best for this bait, though I did just fine with a single hook. However, turtles just love the stuff too and if there are lots of turtles around most of your bites will be from them. This isn’t a flaw of the bait; it’s just nature. I’ve had the same problem using chicken liver bait. Overall this bait worked exactly as expected. Recommended.
