How should I use the removable inner bar?

For most hair types, we recommend keeping the inner bar in for a secure hold. Only if you have very thick or dense hair, you can remove it to create extra space and prevent discomfort.

How do I open these hair barrettes?

To OPEN the Barrette: Use your thumb and index finger to gently squeeze the two metal pieces together at the end of the clip. As you squeeze, the clasp will automatically spring open.

How do I close these French barrettes?

To CLOSE the Barrette: Release the squeeze and press the clasp down against your hair until it snaps securely shut. You should hear a soft click.

Can they hold thick or fine hair in place?

Yes, these Long Barrettes can hold fine hair stay in place, the clips are 4.15'' long and 0.47'' wide, long and strong enough to hold your average thick hair. These barrettes are lightweight, great for thick or fine, curly, long and shorter hair.
