This is an absolutely wonderful complete crochet kit, containing everything one would need to create 10 little figures/objects. I got this for my wife, as she was getting very bored with the lockdown here, so I thought this might help. She has arthritis in her hands, but I felt that this might actually be good for her to keep her fingers moving and active. My mother had severe arthritis, but used to crochet and would create these lovely doilies and table mats in all different patterns and colours.This kit contains everything from the yarn to the crochet hooks, pins etc and stuffing, plus a book explaining techniques and instructions for all the toys. Absolutely nothing else needed. This would make a lovely gift for anyone wanting to start crochet.Note: This is an Amazon Vine review. I have wanted to learn amigurumi for so long now and am lucky to have been given the chance, but unfortunately it is not as quickly doable as I thought from watching videos. I wasted too many hours of my life struggling with this, so this is a mixed review from a complete beginner!Pros:- You get all the materials you need, including a huge variety of coloured yarn, stitch markers, safety eyes, stuffing etc and really the price is worth it for just this- The crochet needle included is comfortable to use and I love that it's a vivid purple, it also hooks easily- Comes with a book with some patterns and very basic instructions on any included stitches/techniques- Has some cute amigurumi examples where you can customise coloursCons:- Not ideal for absolute crochet beginners, you need to know how to read crochet patterns before you dive into this- The instructions on learning the crochet techniques aren't very good in my opinion. I resorted to online videos as they were far more explanatory as I couldn't understand the book- The amigurumi patterns aren't as "easy" as some I've seen online (like little whales)- Crochet hurts my hands... But to be honest this isn't this set's fault, but if you are a beginner then just be aware that it does take a toll on your fingers and wrists!- Doesn't include any information on how to read crochet patterns- The yarn is quite thin and frays easily, but for the price this is to be expectedSo I can't be super unfair to this set as it's well-priced for what's included but the book is too simple - I didn't find the instructions handy for a beginner like myself, I think it was too much of a learning curve. I'll come back to this when I've got the basic techniques mastered but the hours I wasted struggling with magic rings is not time I'm going to get back, and my hands hurt too much to rush the process! If I were to start off after learning from this I'd probably just buy the materials and tools and just use videos for guidance. So, make sure you know how to crochet at a basic level before expecting to produce any of these cute little yarn critters!

Saved this as a Christmas present for my girls who are starting to get into fashion - more so with regards to creating designs and clothes for their dolls. Along with a sewing kit, we got this set as an introduction to knitting. It comes with everything you need to get started - a book of instructions and designs, needle set, and 32 different balls of yarn. The book details everything required to learn the basics clearly and cleanly, and the yarn balls are in a multitude of colours and so far have been sturdy enough to create a little hat and the beginnings of various other items.

This would make a fantastic gift to any budding crocheter as you get everything needed to get going, including a handy guide book on amigurumi.You receive 32 vividly coloured yarns, there really isn't a colour i could think off missing.You can make some really special and unique looking projects that would make a lovely present.It's also a great time to be starting up a new hobby and skill being that with further lockdowns on the horizon we all have extra time on your hands and this is a fun activity that when you get in the stride of it your mind can switch off and i find it to be a great mind cleansing experience.

This is the perfect Lockdown gift for a family member who needs to keep themselves occupied. A complete starter kit.There are enough materials to make ten little projects, and i do mean complete when i say complete! Instruction book included. Yes , this would be no challenge for an experienced crafter, but the materials themselves are worth the asking price! Excellent product, excellent value... Go make someone in your family happy!

This came packed in a nice looking box and everything was in good condition when it arrived. You get lots of yarn in really nice bright colours, and all the accessories needed to get started. The included book is high quality and really useful.To anyone already into crochet / amigurumi, this will probably not be the best gift as it's more of a starter set, but for a beginner, what you get in the pack it represents pretty good value, and I would definitely recommend this as a gift for creative people of all ages.
