[Upgraded] BlueStars 809006501 Dishwasher Bottom Door Gasket for Frigidaire

I bought what I thought was the same part from an appliance part online store but that didn't fit and came loose constantly, dripping water on my floor. This one was half the price and actually fit my dishwasher. It hasn't fallen out once since I put it in. It was pretty difficult to install at first but once I found on video on YouTube showing the notch you need to line up with, it was super easy.

Since we weren't totally sure what to expect, we were surprised how easy it went in.

Fit perfectly, stopped the leak, great price

This was a good fit lengthwise for my Frigidaire dishwasher. However, with age, my dishwasher no longer accepts this thin strip with a nice snug fit inside. I ended up having to super glue some rubber pieces at few points along the length so that when inserted this piece gets a snug fit and does not come off after repeatedly opening and closing the door. This may not be necessary for dishwashers that are new.

I bought this product to replace the door seal in our Frigidaire dishwasher. This seal fits into a slot in the bottom of the door, which is not easy to access. I found that opening the door a few times would cause this seal to slide out of place, which quickly became a nuisance, not to mention a risk of leakage. I replaced this seal with a more expensive, but official replacement part from Sears Parts Direct. The Sears seal is noticeably thicker in the area that fits into the slot, and has not slid out of place yet. I am returning this faulty seal, and do not recommend.

This thing is pretty flimsy. So much so, I couldn't get it to lie flat. I did install it and it does work, but I wonder for how long?

Excellent fit and replacement piece. It was at my house 10 hours after I ordered it and I had it installed in 3 minutes. Perfect fit, only $10. Can’t beat it. No more leaks and the dishwasher was only down for half a day.

Great quality, easy installation, great fit. First run of the dishwasher after installation yielded a small amount of leaking, however subsequent runs have not leaked a drop.
