Repeat Customer
I bought my first pack of these sponges in 2020. I'm ordering my forth today (November 2024). When I went to the product page today I watched a customer video that said not to buy this product. Their video showed their sponge was falling apart. I also saw photos of one that was falling apart with comments about how they love this sponge. Bottom line, products used for scrubbing wear out. My first pack lasted 6 months. My second lasted 18 months. My third lasted 36 months. Why the difference? I learned not to use these on every single kitchen item I cleaned. A cast iron skillet, for example, is tougher than the sponge, You will go through them quickly and they won't be that effective. When I use these on cutlery, I stroke from the top edge (back) of the blade down to the sharp edge. I avoid sliding is on the sharp edge. The blade will cut the sponge easily and shorten its life. It is great for cleaning food that had dried on or is otherwise sticking to dinnerware (soak dish first) and for scrubbing stains in a coffee cup. I also use them to clean my cutting boards, especially after having raw meat on the board. The silicone is not a good matrix for bacteria. that is why they don't smell. I keep a squirt bottle of water with a teaspoon or two of bleach and use it to disinfect my cutting boards, cooking counter, and stove top. This sponge is great for those jobs and the bleach solution keeps it disinfected. You will still need that traditional sponge. The Peachy Clean in not absorbent; it does not soak up spills. (P.S. that water & bleach mix is great for killing odors in your traditional sponge adding to their useful life.)

Durable and clean! NO ODORS!
I purchased these to replace the Scrub Daddies and Sponge Daddies that I'd been using for years. I like these better and here's why: They are a better value! (Similar or same price point and these last longer and work just as effectively or better). These clean just as effectively as the scrub daddy. These smell better (for longer) than either the scrub daddy or the sponge daddy. I love the peachy fragrance of these scrubbers. The one that I've been using for near to 3 months, still smells clean (thought not as peachy as it originally did) and has never smelled rank and mildewy like some sponges can get. They claim to have a 3-month, no odor warranty and I can say without reservation that this is absolutely true. The photo I posted is of my 3 month old scrubber. I wanted to show that it's durable and doesn't fall apart. Their competitors (scrub daddy sponges) are cute with their smiley faces, but those eyes and mouths eventually break down! These are softer on the hands than the scrub daddy. They are not as stiff to begin with and their weave is tighter. The silicone they're made out of has a better feel than a scrub daddy (though it is not as soft/absorbent as a traditional sponge). I'm a believer and will continue to purchase these...but won't have to do it very often because I bet my 3-pack will last nearly a year! And just in case you were wondering- I actually bought these!! They weren't gifted to me in exchange for a review and I didn't get any gift card from Amazon in exchange for this review. They're just great scrubbers!

Peachy Clean is Peachy Keen!
Work well. Stays fresh, no bad smell if left damp. Not meant for use with bleach ,I believe. It seems like they begin to break down quicker if bleach is used to wash dishes. They do not scrub as well as scouring side of regular sponge but they do not scratch pans or baking dishes like regular scouring pads do either. I think this is a plus.

They are the best sponges and do not smell bad like others!

Works very well while it lasts, but don't expect too much longevity
This is an interesting idea that has pros and cons. The pros: The stiff reticulated silicone material scrubs quite well, especially compared to a cellulose sponge, and rinses clean easily, which means it doesn't rapidly start smelling bad. It keeps its shape fairly well at first, especially if you always use it flat and don't wrap it around things. The peachy smell is pleasant when new, but fades quickly. The cons: The open-cell reticulated foam also means that this sponge takes in a lot of soap, but doesn't hold onto it. You may find yourself going through dish soap much more quickly than you're used to. It also means the sponge doesn't hold a lot of water, which may be problematic for some uses like sponging countertops, and makes it very poor at mopping up spills. If you use it in a way that wraps it around small objects like silverware, or you do a lot of heavy scrubbing with it (pots and pans, say), you'll find it quite quickly begins to shed pieces, then breaks up and loses its shape. The silicone material is somewhat brittle and seems to propagate tears further and faster than a cellulose sponge. It's stiff, but not very tough. Overall: Works well, but for the price it needs to be more durable. I can get much more total cleaning done by spending the same money on conventional kitchen scourers. The three-month no-odor warranty is meaningless when the sponge is in shreds in three weeks. Technical Thug says ... meh. Inventive, clever, original, but ultimately disappointing.

Quality Sponges!
Bought these because the supermarket sponges I was using were not lasting long at all! They were getting gross & smelly so quick, waste of money. These are awesome!! They smell great and last a long time! Totally worth the price. This is my second time ordering & it wonโt be my last.
