TrueSeaMoss Raw Sea Moss, Wildcrafted Irish Moss, 16oz (1lb) for Gel

I love this product, but since the Biden Administration, they shrunk the packaging and kept the price high. Very good product, not so much the price gouging and shrink packaging. truly a good item, not a good value any more.

This product was recommended by my best friend. So glad I bought it. I feel amazing.

This product can’t possibly be healthy for you!! After washing the tons and tons of added salt off of this product, I repeatedly washed it several more times until there was no more cloudiness of salt in the bowl, then proceeded to to soak it for about 24hrs. I noticed that the product initially felt hydrated, not totally wet but a little bit damp, so I wasn’t expecting it to pick up much water as my previous brand, and it surprised me, but I could not use nearly as much water as I do when making my brand, but I made a slightly smaller batch that was quite thin for a jell. After refrigerating for about 16 hours, I decided to try it! The first thing that stuck out was just how thin the jell was. I proceeded to spoon out two tablespoons into a bowl, then immediately I licked the spoon!! Trust me when I say, this was the most disgusting sea moss I have ever tasted!!! It’s slightly strange smell was the first thing to turn me off to it, strange is the only way I know to describe the smell, and then there was the taste!!! It was extremely salty!!!! I added 4 ounces of apple sauce to it and it tasted better, but I could still taste the salt!!! I bought the special deal 3 one pound packets for 42.00!!! What a waste of time and money because the company doesn’t take refunds!!!!

Excellent product

I just made a batch with this. Even though it says "1lb" it was already semi-hydrated. And covers in "sandy" like substance. It was saltier tasting than others which leads me to believe it is some sort of preservative. It also didn't blend as well when it was fully dehydrated. Again leading me to believe this to me a result of this preservative. Though that is purely speculation. Because it was partially hydrated, I would say i got about 64 oz from 1lb bag (after mixing in blended fruit for flavor. Less than i got with my previous brand. But I think still cheaper...I didn't do the math before writing this review. May come back with an update if i have anything else to add. I'll probably go back to the last brand of sea moss once I'm through with the 3 lbs I bought.

I have been buying this brand for awhile but I've noticed quality started going down. There were brown pieces in the sea moss like it was burned or too dried out. But nothing that stopped me from using it. This last batch literally smelled burned and was mostly brown to dark brown. I couldn't use it, I was afraid of what it might do or that all the nutrients were burned away! Update: The seller has offered a full refund and a replacement product so I appreciate the customer service. I will raise my rating to 3 stars.
