I must say I was leary ordering a generic bulb but could not justify the $50 price difference of this one worked just as well. I loved that for the price it also came in the housing. That being said, I was nervous it wouldn't fit perfectly or would somehow not be as good. Boy, was I nervous for nothing. It took all of 60 seconds to install. The picture is so much better than it was with the Sony brand bulb. It looks like a brand new television. The picture is beautifully crisp and bright. I am thrilled. I'd also like to report that this company's customer service emailed a follow up inquiring on my satisfaction which I thought was lovely. I am thoroughly satisfied and will order another as a back up. What a great experience. My Sony bulb lasted 10 months. We will see how long this lasts. I highly recommend this product. A great value and a great product. I honestly think that it is providing a better picture than the name brand, $79.00 bulb I previously had.

This product was bought to replace the existing lamp in my TV. At first it seemed to brighten up the screen, but gradually got dark again. As a last resort I put the original lamp back I the TV and the brightness returned. I was not please when I first received this bulb with its limited brightness, but gave it a chance. Now it is totally failed, too dark to see most shows in less than 90 days and I can not find a way to contact the supplier

This is not an OEM replacement lamp and at less than a quarter the cost, I did not expect it to be. Packaging was simple enough to allow the lamp housing to dislodge from the slits in the box that were supposed to hold it in place. No plastic wrap or tape to remove from the lamp, just a lamp in a box. It even came with instructions on how to bend back the metal frame should it be bent in shipment. I guess this happens a lot? That said, the lamp was absolutely NOT damaged in any way and performs as expected. It takes slightly longer to warm up to full brightness, but this is not particularly annoying at all - maybe 10 seconds at the most. No big deal. Overall brightness also seems slightly under OEM, but I have no equipment to measure this, just my eyes. Brightness is still better than my old warn out lamp so I'm happy and, for the money, I would buy another based on my initial feelings. Time will tell if the lamp fails prematurely or not.

Worked great on our 98 year old papaws tv. It hasn't looked so bright in 10+ years

Easy to install - finding instructions via Google. Lasted May '24 to Aug '25. No warning - just 'bam'! The prior lamp I had lasted in excess of 10 years.

Arrived today.Works perfectly....happy to have bought it. Will update if any problems develop.

Very pleased with this product. Mine all lasted for about a year or more. Yours will too if you monitor your picture settings well. I have ordered this same bulb 3 times now (July 6 2018, Feb 14, 2020 and last week). It lasts about a year or longer each time. I did notice that if I changed the settings to make the picture brighter then the life of the bulb did change. This last delivery included a free package of masks "made in the USA". I loved that surprise.

quick delivery; great sales experience

As the headline states; I purchased this over one year ago and the bulb still works. I was apprehensive about purchasing this, but I didn't want to pay a huge amount from Sony. And I am so glad I find this bulb on Amazon. I remember remarking on how bright the television picture was after I fitted the new bulb. So my old bulb must have been slowly dying for a while !

E' la seconda lampada non originale che cambio, questa è già montata nel box di alloggiamento (perfettamente identico all'originale) cosa che ne facilita l'inserimento. La luminosità é ottima come intensità e come uniformità e non presenta anomalie cromatiche (con la lampada in esaurimento la TV iniziava a mostrare le dominanti rosse e verdi ai lati dello schermo, ma con la sostituzione sono sparite), Anche con i valori impostati al 50% la differenza con quella in via di esaurimento è notevole. Ovviamente la durata nel tempo sarà da testare: per quella che è stata la mia esperienza (utilizzo pomeridiano e serale) la durata è di 4 anni, ma ovviamente dipende dal numero di ore di funzionamento (dovrebbe esserci il sistema di visualizzare le ore di funzionamento della lampada con qualche combinazione di tasti). Comunque il pregio dei TV a retroproiezione è che cambiando la lampada diventano praticamente nuovi. Attenzione all'inserimento! Nella sede del televisore dove va inserito il box con la lampada, in fondo in basso a destra è presente un pulsantino che viene tenuto premuto da una sporgenza corrispondente nel box della lampada. A me è successo che il box non spingeva a sufficienza il pulsante e il TV non funzionava segnalando che la lampada non era correttamente in sede (lampeggio verde-rosso del led di accensione). Ciò nel mio caso non dipendeva dalla lampada nuova (ripeto: il box è identico all'originale) ma probabilmente dal fatto che il pulsante vecchio di 8 anni aveva perso elasticità, infatti non funzionava più nemmeno la lampada precedente montata sul box originale. Il tutto si risolve facilmente aumentando lo spessore.

交換直後、それまで使っていた古いランプと明るさに変化が無かった。１ヶ月程度すると画面が大変暗くなり、テレビの寿命かと思いテレビを買い替える検討を始めた。しかし、あまりに暗いので取ってあった交換前のランプに戻すと、画面が明るくなり、暗い原因がこのランプにある事が判明した。品質＆耐久性共に悪く購入は控えた方が良い商品と判断されます。
