Opinions on dry brining and db? i always dry brine beforehand. should i do both or should i just dry brine with db? i don't want it overly salted.

Hey there Bill, I am a big fan of salt in my food and I think doing a dry brine then Dirty Bird would be overdoing it. You might want to stick with just using the DB for the dry rub and give it some time to work its magic.

Is dirty bird hot good for smoking ribs?

I love dirty bird..... it is my go to for chicken and ribs. I dont have the hot but if you want to give it a spicy kick I am sure you could. You will have to experiment I am sure how much kick it has and how much kick you want. Like everything hot start easy and add to taste. You normally can't take hot away once it is on a food product. I know salt is a component of all the Kosmos Q lines. My only wish is that they made a reduced salt version. I would buy it by the buckets.

Dirty bird is an excellent rub for just about anything you smoke, bbq, bake, etc. I doubt you’d be disappointed. I’ve used it on turkey legs and it tasted amazing!

Can't go wrong, get two.

Really digging this seasoning. Seems to be right what i was looking for. It has a good percentage of salty, tangy, spicy, smoky and peppery flavors. I will be using this for a wing cookoff I have coming up. Will buy again if needed.

Best rub I've tried so far. So glad I tried it even my wife loves it. I used it on a fresh steelhead filet smoked over apple wood and drizzled with honey and it was delicious.

Great flavor

Perfect spice for chicken, but excellent for ribs and ground beef as well. Love using it on pasta dishes too! As soon as the container is 3/4 empty, I’m ordering a new one. Can’t run out of this spice!
