One reason, maybe most importantly, which is part of why I wanted to test a second pair, my hands don't go numb at any point in the ride. For the many years I've ridden on long rides, one or both of my hands would go numb at some point. It was easy to fix, I'd just take my hand off the bar and clench it a while, it would go away. It happened with any gloves I've ever used, but I never thought the gloves had that much to do with it, I thought it was just having my hands on the handlebars for any long ride. And I have, or had, other gloves that are virtually identical to these. Anyway, no more numbness, for either pair, I'll probably get more.The second reason, and this is most convenient, the touchscreen finger tips work great.
