BRIOTECH Oral Swish, Hypochlorous Acid Mouthwash Oral Rinse, 17 oz

This is one of my favorite non-mint, non-traditional mouthwashes. No, it's not super tasty, and it can take some getting used to - my 12-year son describes it as "salty pool water" that makes his mouth pucker. But I don't use it for its delicious taste, I use it for its function - and for that, it is superb. And from an adult perspective, the taste is totally tolerable. Just think of it as a mild oral disinfectant that is much gentler than a certain well known, very strongly flavored, alcoholic-based antiseptic mouthwash brand. This rinse doesn't burn, unless you have an existing mouth injury or canker sore, in which case anything would burn. But this actually helps mouth sores heal by gently disinfecting without stripping away layers of tissue. In the same way this mouthwash helps freshen breath - by helping to remove your oral biofilm and by killing the germs that cause bad breath. But regardless of its excellence as a mouthwash, I primarily use it for cleaning and deodorizing my mouth guard, which I wear every night. I won't claim to know whether this product technically disinfects oral appliances completely, such as those fizzy tablets claim, but since I'm allergic to mint my options are extremely limited. Once a week I disinfect it using a traditional method, after which I have to soak it in water for hours to remove all traces of mint flavoring. The rest of the time, I soak it in this rinse for 5-10 minutes before bed, and voila, it's good as new!

If you are obsessed with oral hygiene like me, you won’t want to pass on this BRIOTECH Hypochlorous Acid Oral Swish. It is the perfect alternative to alcohol containing mouthwashes. As someone with multiple sensitivities, I appreciate the purity of the formula with no flavor additives. I initially purchased for my teenager in orthodontics, then snagged one for myself. I use it as a mouthwash, gargle with it, add it to a small glass bowl to soak my retainers in upon removal, and add it to my water pik as well. It’s also amazing to pour into your water pik reservoir periodically to flush the tube and keep it pristine. I also soak my toothbrush head and tongue scraper in it daily, then rinse before using. Helps support a healthy oral microbiome, amazing for gum health, and keeps all of your dental hygiene tools clean. If you are not using Hypochlorous in your dental regimen, add it now! I love all of Briotech’s Hypochlorous products- for skin, wounds, and cleaning. I’ve tried multiple brands and always come back to Briotech for quality and value.

Purchased for use after teeth extraction . I will use it all of the time after using it for that. I am a allergic to most other mouthwash. I feel very good about this as it eliminates the cause of bad breath..bacteria..no scent, does not just cover it up. Simple ingredient, no additives.

I don't think it's the best choice for daily use, if you don't really need strong/deep cleaning. But it's fantastic as an after sex mouthwash ;) Be aware, the taste is not sweet lol!

Game changer. I love this stuff. Sometimes you just don’t want to have a mouth full of mint. You just want it to feel clean. This is the stuff. I use it at bedtime. I use it mid day. I can totally tell a difference in my oral hygiene. I’m hooked. It starts out that strange salty taste and a little of that chlorine smell- but is gone in a second. Which is pretty cool.

Wow, this stuff is great. I had a canker sore under my tongue that was driving me nuts because it hurt so bad, even when I wasn't eating, and a random case of oral thrush. Not sure what triggered it because I rinse, brush, and floss twice a day, but something was off and it happened. Anyway, I decided to try this because of the saline and hypochlorous acid. I love hypochlorous acid for my face so I figured I'd try it for my mouth too lol. So glad I did; my sore and thrush was practically gone in 1-2 days of using this 2-3 times a day, and it didn't dry my mouth out at all. I'll probably keep using this 2-3 times a week for good maintenance and keep using my regular mouthwash alongside it the rest of the time. This is a very effective rinse that heals. I will definitely buy again. The taste is not as bad to me as others say it is either. To me, it just tasted like salt water, which is usually used to rinse when you have issues of the mouth anyway.

This isn't flavored, it's not minty, and it doesn't leave your breath smelling 'fresh.' What it does do, is disinfect your mouth if you have gum issues, sores, or cuts, and it kills all the nasties, leaving your breath nicely neutral. Let's talk about the flavor - as I said, this isn't flavored. So, when you take a small mouthful, the very first thing you taste is a mild (not obnoxious) saltiness. It's okay, if a bit unexpected. And that's all you taste, while you swish the stuff in your mouth. Just slight saltiness. When you spit it out, you get part two of the flavor, and the scent. (It's not scented, either). And that flavor is 'oops, I accidentally opened my mouth in a highly chlorinated swimming pool.' It's fairly strong swimming-pool flavor, but it's not really worse than swimming-pool flavor. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it's acceptable. There's no burning, no fake sugar flavor, or awfulness. This is pretty good solution for folks who want to disinfect their mouth with something mild, and don't like the obnoxious flavors of most mouthwashes.

I should have listened to other reviews. The smell is almost unbearable. I say mothballs, my husband says dirty spa water. Then once you taste it. Oh my! Salty pool water. Not yummy.
