I have used this product for about 8 years or more and wouldn't consider not using it. Some of the negative reviews below don't realize why it doesn't work for them. This is not a medicine. It is a natural herbal remedy which means that it takes time normally to build up and be effective on an ongoing basis. I take one in the morning with breakfast and another at night with dinner. However, its ongoing effectiveness will be impacted by minor (or major) dietary changes which are also necessary depending on your eating habits. If a person's diet is packed with rich foods on a consistent basis and lots of red meat without being offset with healthier elements in one's diet, then no gout medicine or herbal remedy will ultimately be completely effective. Another cause of build up of uric acid in the blood can be the side effects from some blood pressure reducing medicines (such as HCTZ) which is how I originally began to get gout (as well as a love for some rich foods :). Because of changes in diet & exercise, I was able to stop taking HCTZ when my blood pressure lowered to normal levels but the gout remained. But after a short time of taking Total Cleanse (I can't remember how long it took) along with a couple of Advil once or twice a day for about 3 days, the immediate gout crisis ended. I very rarely get any flareups at all, even during holiday season with all of the rich food enjoyed in moderation. I recommend this product very highly if you are also willing to make some minor dietary adjustments. Not a lot, but it depends on the elements that are causing gout flareups.

Being a gout suffer for over two decades, I put down my prescription allopurinol, and decided to try something different and went with this product as a natural alternative. After taking this product and switching to a strict vegetarian diet for three months, I went back to my doctor for another blood test and was able to get my uric acid to normal levels for the first time in twenty years! I think the vegetarian diet is your most effective treatment for gout and other issues such as diabetes and high triglycerides of which I was suffering from too and got amazing results on my blood test also. But with a vegetarian diet and this total cleanse uric acid treatment, I found serious results. If you image search on google "Acid Load to the Kidneys" you will see a chart with foods highest in acid and foods that are more alkaline. You can see by looking at the chart that ALL animal proteins create an acidic load to your body and that beans, fruits, and veggies create an alkaline environment in your body. Uric acid crystals can not form in an alkaline body. Realizing this information, all one has to do is become a vegetarian and they are on there way to a gout free life. After becoming a vegetarian I did experience a few serious gout attacks. You might wonder how could this be if I was on a vegetarian/alkaline diet? I realized that I had lost 40lbs in less than six months and your body stores excess uric acid in your fat cells so when you loose the fat, the uric acid that was being stored gets dumped back into your system. This along with taking an apple cider vinegar supplement to help desolve built up uric acid deposits in my joints I believe contributed to the attacks. This item was a 2nd purchase because I decided to take it at times to make sure my Uric Acid remains normal. I was very surprised at a doctor visit when I was told that my Uric Acid was high. I had never really heard about it. But I researched it to found out more about it, and then I found this product. Since taking it the first time around, when I did return to my doctor, my Uric Acid was better. I want it to keep heading in that direction and I do feel that this product had something to do with it the better results. It's easy to take and I try to do so daily until I've used it up. I will probably order again after my next doctor visit just to make sure it doesn't go up high again. I am grateful they have such a product to help with lowering high Uric Acid.

Works well for me

This product really works as I have already purchased 3 bottles. Since taking this item I havent had any flares or attacks, but remember that you must watch your diet. Avoid shellfish, beer, and excessive red meat.When people tell you gout pain is bad, believe them. I first had a gout attack many years ago while traveling. I woke up in the middle of the night with really bad pain in my big toe. I couldnt even walk to the bathroom.It was on the day we were to leave to go home and the pain was so bad I actually considered staying and seeing a doctor there. My wife convinced me we would be better to go ahead and get home. The same day we came home I was able to see my family doctor. He prescribed some prescription medicines and told me there was not much else I could do. Since I am a big believer in herbal medicines I started to look for some other kind of treatment. I found this online and ordered 3 bottles. Within two days I began to notice a big improvement. After taking the pills for a week my toe had returned to its normal size and color. More important, the pain was gone! I have kept on taking this on a regular basis and it keeps my gout pretty much in check.

Quick Update: A few days after posting this Solaray contacted me offering a full refund due to the product not working as well as they believed the product should and hope I'd give them another chance. This really surprised me that a company would reach out like this and makes me respect them even more. I'll note that I am NOT going to take the refund because I don't think it's fair to the company. There was nothing wrong with the product itself and it's still high quality. It just wasn't the perfect fit for me personally. Other people, as you can see from other reviews, love it. I'll still happily buy other products, like their tart cherry pills, from this company! I should start out by saying I don't actually know if I have gout. I just started having some pain in the joint of both of my big toes one day and knew that other guys in the family have had issues with it as well. I don't have any of that deep red colored inflammation that seemed to be common when I was doing research. And since medical costs are even higher in today's world I did what most people do (but not always should)- decide to try some more natural stuff first and then go to a doctor as a last resort if it gets worse. After doing some research I found that one of the most common ingredients used to treat gout is tart cherry, so the very first product I bought was Solaray's pure tart cherry capsules at regular strength. And they did seem to work well to the point where almost all of my pain was gone except if I did something like step weird or bump my toe hard. It even helped with other joints that got sore from working outside all of the time. When it was time to order a new bottle I came across this product, and figured if regular tart cherry worked so well, that a dedicated uric acid product should work even better and thus ended up buying this product. And with almost a week left of pills, I'm not super thrilled with it yet. The product itself seems as high quality as the tart cherry pills. It had a super new manufactured date on it, so the capsules were as freshly made as can be, and was safety sealed properly. All the capsules were intact- no empty or broken ones that left powder everywhere. They have a really strong smell of celery seed to them; to where you can't even sense other ingredients and the taste of celery seed is slightly noticeable through the outer capsule. I don't personally have a problem with that myself, but some might find it overpowering. They're easy for me to swallow, and I don't have any kind of negative effects taking them, like an upset stomach that I've seen a few other reviews mention As for how effective they are for me? Not as much as the pure cherry pills. They still help far more than when I wasn't taking anything at all, but I'll notice just a few split second sharp pain every so often that I didn't have before with the other product. These pills might take longer to get the full effect going, so I'll try one more bottle to see if it ends up working better. But if I don't end up seeing any more noticeable results after the second bottle I'll probably end up going back to the original strength cherry pills since they worked better for me and are almost $10 cheaper. Maybe I'll check out the triple strength cherry ones instead. I'm sure these will work great for a lot of people, but it doesn't seem like they're the best fit for me so far.

Tem o sabor a curcuma, o que é mormal

Llevo unos meses tomandola y por ahor me va bien. No he tenido ataques de gota. Eso si, intento no abusar de los alimentos que la producen.
