Does the thermometer in the picture show 80 degrees F or 70?

The outdoor/indoor hygrometer is a physical simulation principle that does not require batteries. The scale of the thermometer has a number for degrees Fahrenheit and a number for degrees Celsius, with the notation below: ℉ for degrees Fahrenheit and ℃ for degrees Celsius.

Is this all plastic or glass?

The thermometer is made out of glass and the white part is plastic. It seems to be very accurate but it is not very easy to read...

I need a 7.75" glass thermometer to replace a inoperative one in a antique frame

thermometer and hygrometer are received or damaged in use, the merchant will replace it free of charge. Don't worry about wasting money, don't worry about thermometer damage and out of warranty issues. Contact the merchant if you encounter any problems, and AikTryee merchants will help you solve them.

information says "no battery required" and also says "battery powered." Which is it?

The outdoor/indoor hygrometer is a physical test principle and does not require batteries, so there is no need to worry about changing batteries in winter.
