Apeks RK3 Military Rubber Fin with Adjustable Stainless Steel Spring Straps

I got these fins to replace my Cressi spits that I had for years and finally started cracking. The Apeks are very nice, Just a tad shorter but wider so I can fit them on my roll on bag. Performance is great. Better than the Cressis and I was just down in mexico with them for a week and was kicking like a madman doing some large wildlife photography. Not only could I keep up with the big fish (well as much as a human can) but they were very comfortable and no sore spots, blisters or anything. I also really like the spring straps and it's easy peasy. And there are little holes where you can take them off and clip them to your BC which is huge when you are exiting the water with a large camera in rough seas.

Exactly what I wanted and work great! I live on an island and did my dive master with these they are my favourite!

Extremely robust, kick up minimal debris, comfortable, slip on and off easy and stay put nicely while diving. Foot well seems wide at first but that's what makes them go on and off easy and you don't notice it while diving. Part of the design. I'm a size 10 with standard width dive boots. No issues with the standard size. Best fins I've owned. Military grade.

Great fin. Great fit, easy to Fon and Doff. I was a previous owner of split-fin. I can feel each kick is a maximized thrust. I get more travel from a kick than the split-fins

Should have bought these years ago! Neutrally buoyant, so weight is not an issue. Durable with plenty of power to move you through the water. Great for flutter kicks as well as amazing for frog kicks!

Was struggling to find these fins anywhere! Turns out Amazon was the place to go. I ordered XL in orange which is the ‘Super’ size in Apeks. I haven’t used the fins yet, but they are exactly as stated in the description. They feel super durable and are stiff/flexible enough for stroke efficiency. They are just that little bit heavier which is perfect for drysuit diving. They’ll be used 99% for commercial work - of all the commercial divers I know that use these fins, none have had anything bad to say about them! I wear a men’s US12 wetsuit/drysuit boot and found the fins to be a good fit. If you’re a size smaller, I feel like you’d be better off with the next size down.

Very good fin and strap. I'm a commercial diver. I changed to these from the ScubaPro Jet fins. I dove them for twenty years, super durable compact fin. I was looking for some more heel protection so I tried these. They do help protect the heel of my booties but the rubber isn't as durable as the tried and true ScubaPro Jetfin. They seem to scar up easier but less than other fins. The ScubaPro Jet fin is still champ in durability. I will say the stainless spring strap is amazing. I've been using the RK3s for about 8 months now and no failures or tears yet. I hope they can hold-up to the abuse of commercial diving because I like the extra heel protection. We will see. If your a sport scuba dive, this purchase is a no brainer. You will get your money's worth out of them for sure.

I clean boat hulls and do dive work for a living. These things are heavy, tough, not too big, and will propel you like a rocket. If you're serious about diving and want a tough, performing, commercial grade fin then I would highly recommend. If you're wearing shoes or boots and are over a size 10 mens, I would suggest the super size. I'm a size 12 and wear shoes with my super x's and they fit well.
