Great fan with a lot of functionality
I would give this 10 stars if I could. So far I've only set it up in the living room and tested the functions, but it is an amazing product with loads of functionality. I'm using this fan to ventilate a crawl space. I went with this product for the App functions as I wanted to avoid pulling in moist air on humid days. With the controller I can set the fan to only cut on when outside humidity is low. It can also be used for high humidity days if you were using it to vent a greenhouse for example. I've also set the temperature parameters so it will cut off if temps fall below 40. It has 10 speed settings for the fan but even at 10 the fan is not loud at all. I have full control through the App, the controller unit is connected to the wifi so I don't have to get down in the crawlspace to adjust anything. I will follow up with install pics and performance feedback but as of now, I could not be happier. When the fan is not running the shutters stay closed to keep out critters and cold air. I expect drastic changes in the crawl space humidity while I address water ingress issues on the exterior. I tried a 120 pint a day dehumidifier that didn't touch the humidity levels. Taking advantage of dry air days outside should make a huge impact in the crawl space humidity levels. This thing moves some air.

Night cooling for the whole house
We have an operable skylight in the second floor ceiling with a screen, an ideal place to install a vent fan. The 14" was the largest that would fit. I built a mounting frame out of 2 x 3s with plexiglas panels to keep the air from backflowing where the fan didn't cover the skylight opening. The fan is tilted about 25 degrees up from horizontal (the roof slope). We use it at night when it gets hotter than 90 F outside during the previous day, are able to cool the house down to the low 60s in the morning. So far this summer have been able to avoid using the A/C, saving $$ on electricity. Our house is 1800 sq ft. The temperature control prevents it from over-cooling the house. The fan is in a room next to our bedroom, and we can hear it, but it's not an unpleasant sound (kind of white noise) and doesn't interfere with sleep. The display is easy to read, and the controls have a lot of options and are easy to use. We run it full speed, when speed gets 60% or lower the louvers don't open fully and can chatter. If the louvers had an actuator to open fully anytime the fan is on, it would make the speed control more useful. Also for installs in living areas where it will be seen, it would be better if it came in white. Highly recommended.

Good quality and quiet.
Good quality with easy connections. The cables and power cords could be longer though.

Worth the extra money environmentally sensitive applications
I donโt typically leave product reviews but I want to - especially for those using these to for greenhouses. I almost bought a cheaper manual or basic temp controlled fan, but after looking into the smart controller I figured Iโd give it a shot. Once I started to configure the fan I saw options for temp, humidity, and VPD triggers. VPD is a function of temperature and humidity which is important for a healthy greenhouse environment. High VPD equates to high levels of respiration (making plants prone to burning from the sun and nutrients), low VPD is low respiration (putting plants at risk for root rot and pests). Even with a humidifier in a greenhouse high VPD is easy to run into during the day, but so is (obviously) heat. At night low VPD prevails where heat typically isnโt an issue. So by setting temp triggers during the day and VPD triggers at night, VPD continues to stay in acceptable range. The UI in the AC Infinity app is also intuitive and well-thought out. I am impressed!

No PID function.
So, when I read the operation description I thought it was saying the fans will automatically speed up and down based on the site temperature or humidity. As soon as I hit the high temp set point the fans speed right up to what ever I set as Max speed. Reading the instructions it appears they are working the way they are designed. You set a Max speed and then when the temp or humidity hit high or low setpoint the fans come on and speed right up to that Max. If you have an alarm set then when that trigger you go full speed. At full speed these fans are loud, but then I have two on top of each other and they are moving a ton of air. The fans seem like a good quality and the dampers work well.

Fan of this Fan
I bought two 14โ smart fans for our greenhouse. They are of great quality and are packaged well. Fans were easy to install and come with heavy duty screws so fans are secured to the wall with no vibration. Fans are a little loud on the highest setting, but controls the temperature well and provides good air movement throughout the building. The black looks sharp from the outside. I highly recommend this product.

Better than expected
Perfect for my 3 car garage based woodshop. I wanted an exhaust system that would serve two functions: Remove fine dust while working in the woodshop. And to cool down the garage by pushing out hot air and sucking in cool air through my garage roof vents. This does both very well. I purchased two fans since my shop is 600 square feet and has an open ceiling. This required some additional ventilation requirements since the amount of air I needed to circulate was substantial. I have studs that are 16 inch on center and did not want to cut the studs. Instead of going with a larger fan, I went with two of these. My wall is almost 6 inches total thickness when adding in the stucco, drywall, and wood siding on the interior wall. As a result, the outside opening would have been recessed quite a bit. So I opted to purchase separate fan shutters for a flush fit on the outside. I removed the shutters that came with the fan since they were not needed. I got the fan shutters from Grainger item #53DR16. These fans move a lot of air for their size and are not very loud at all compared to some shop fans I have used. Summers are very hot here in So Cal and I will program the fans to turn on automatically around 2 am when the outside air is cool. Now when I go in my shop in the morning, the temps should be more comfortable. Highly recommend this product.

Really Well Designed Garage Exhaust Fan
This exhaust fan is great! I have a completely sealed garage with no insulation which means it gets really hot. It was starting to affect some of the electronics. The base unit for my satellite system is in there and the heat was causing multiple problems with DVR video recording because it would frequently turn off. The garage does have two louvers that were installed when the home was built but both were drywalled over by the prior owner meaning no ventilation at all. Cut the drywall open for both and the air was still stagnant. Bought this, removed the louver (just required drilling out the spot welds) and bolted this exhaust fan in. It works great at keeping the garage at a more tolerable level. And keeps my very expensive electronics cool. It was very easy to set up. While there is no remote control, the app they provide is very easy to use. The control system they use allows 4 separate devices to attach to this one control unit so I will be buying a point of use fan strictly for the satellite system. That should keep that specific device much cooler. The below photo shows one of the app's screens. You can turn this on, turn it off. You can set it for a countdown or count up. I have it set to Auto so that when it hits 90 degrees it turns on. I have it set to a max of 6 but you can set it all the way up to 10 if so desired. All in all, love this device. It's made my garage much cooler than it normally is which is protecting my expensive electronics.

Effective amd quiet
Fan is effective and quiet. Great wifi and app for control. Auto schedule based on time or temperature. We have it in a shed for our smoker and bbq. Love this!

Works well in our solar battery room!
We installed this fan in our insulated battery room for our solar plant at our off grid Airbnb retreat. Our new inverter was making the room hot, so we have our HVAC tech install it to a duct that vents to the exterior. Our summer in north eastern Ontario this year has been really warm - this fan system automatically varied its speed to our programmed set temp points and kept the room in its sweet spot. The app works well to remotely check on the room temp and fan speed etc.

Solid hardworking fan
working great, cooling our super hot attic. Not entirely silent, but not noisy. The app is useful to assess the humidity and temperature so you can time the fan cycles. Recommended to us by our electrician.
