This is maybe the 7th case I've gotten from SupCase/Unicorn Beetle. I use them for all my phones, my wife's phone and my kids phones.They are sleek, slim and sturdy and they look really good. My 12 year old drops her phone at least 3 times a day and SupCase has protected it every time.This will be the case I use until they stop making cases.

This case keeps my iPhone 12 Pro well protected. I love the built-in screen protector too. I highly recommend this case.

When I was looking for a case for my iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, I was struck not only by the number of options but also by the uniformity of most of the cases out there. Either you have your beefy but bland otterbox-like cases at around $40 box or basic silicon/polycarbonate cases in the $10 range. When I saw the Sup Case Unicorn Beetle Pro case, it was hard for me to figure out which of those categories it fit into best. Having installed it and use it for the past week, I would put it squarely in the first group in because of its excellent fit, finish and sturdiness but also as a standout because of its style and design. I was first attracted to this case by its striking upscale industrial look. Being a professional, I wanted something that I thought looked good but didn’t want something too “out there” or garish looking. I am pleased to say that the case looks much better IRL than on the website. The metallic elements are realistic and tasteful. At once striking about not over the top. The bevels surrounding the screen on the front and the cameras on the back are robust and offer excellent protection in case of a drop. The one concern I had about the deepness of the bevel on the front was that it could make it difficult to swipe up to get to the home screen. I have not found that to be the case though someone with pudgier fingers may have more of an issue.The outside border of the case is made from a finely textured material that feels high quality and offers excellent grip without slipperiness one might see with cheaper cases. I like the feel of this in my hands more than any other case I have ever had. I do have a larger hand (wear XL or XXL gloves) and this case feels perfect. Someone with smaller hands may have more of an issue with holding the phone comfortably. The cover for the charging port appears sturdy. The slightly raised buttons for volume and power offer excellent tactile feedback without protruding too far. This is much better than cases I have had with flat buttons on the side that lack tactile feedback and make them much more difficult to find and press.Seeing the screen protector on the website, I was concerned that it appeared to be made of a cheap plastic. However, it provides excellent coverage of the screen/integration with the case and there is no discernible effect on screen responsiveness when using it. It also resists smudging as well or better than standard tempered glass protectors I’ve used in the pastThe kickstand on the back is solid and easy to use. And the belt case that comes with the case is extremely chunky and durable. It lets you attach it to your belt or, because the belt clip covers the screen when attached to the case can offer additional protection if stowing your phone in a bag Or purse.Finally while I’m guessing this case is not compatible with Apples Mag Safe system, it does work with my Tesla induction charger and so Im guessing would work with other induction chargers as well.Overall, I would give this case 5 stars with no significant deficiencies noted. I have been yet to test its ability to protect my phone during a drop and so cannot really comment on the durability or protective ability of the case but will update this post if (or, lets be honest, when) that day eventually comes.

iPhone 12 Pro - Great case as far as protection goes. Will definitely hold up to some abuse.Pros --The kickstand! This is the main reason I bought this case. Love having the stand built-in.-Came with it's own screen protector. (fits well with the rest of the case)-Thick enough to withstand scratches and drops and it seems fairly water resistant. I wouldn't say waterPROOF, but that's to be expected.-Fit my phone really well and it was easy to push the side buttons.Cons--It's thick! Love my sleek phone, but this case made it feel like a brick!-The protective covers on the lightning plug hole and the mute switch hole are bothersome and hard to get open. I suppose you could cut them out (and they do call them "cut-outs), but it seems that would take away some of the protective properties.-Couldn't use my mag-safe charger with this case. Just wouldn't connect.-Not very transparent. Couldn't see the phones color and I specifically wanted this color of phone, so...-Not that this will happen to everyone, but, mine came to me as new, but I could tell it was a return. All the plastic protection sheets for the screen protector had been pulled off and hastily put back on.So, I opted for a case that was a little more sheer and thinner.I'll hang on to this just in case I plan on taking my phone out into the wilderness or something!? :)

11/15/2024Picked up another one of these for the same phone as below. As I stated in this review I am very hard on phones. They got thrown around, dropped, and mounted on dirt bikes and motorcycles. My phone is absolutely fine because of these cases.Update: 2/25/23Picked up another one of these cases for my iPhone 12. The last was put though some hard use over the last year. Dropped more then I can count including off an 6’ ladder and my phone is still in perfect shape. Highly recommend these cases. I still would like to see the kick stand be improved for overall durability, but that’s it. I have attached pictures of the case I just replaced. It had zero cracks, it was just looking like a mess.I’ve been using these cases in all the iPhones in my household for a few years now. They are sturdy and durable to normal drops. My only real complaint is that the kick stands which I love do not last all that long and end up snapping just from normal use and not from being dropped. Wish they would come up with a sturdier kick stand option, that being said they are still worth buying.

Great case if you want a cover over charging port and buttons. Built in screen protector works well too but you can cut it out easily if you want to use a glass one instead.

Ever since I swapped to this brand I have never had issues with worrying about breaking my phone :) It’s really sturdy (bulky but that’s to be expected for durability).The screen protector does get really scratched up over time and there’s unfortunately no replacements unless you contact customer service as apart of your warranty, wish they would just sell the screen protectors if you’re over your warranty.Otherwise great brand, will always get a case from here!

Heavy duty plastic and metal, with a cool stand. This is the only phone case I buy. But, the flip down back stand has broken after several months, then I buy another. But I like these a lot.

Usually bought OtterBox phone case but was unable to get one with a screen protector and decided on this one and glad I did. It is well constructed and fits like a glove on my iPhone12. Buttons respond well. Only downside is screen smudges quite a bit but really not enough to affect your viewing. All in all price was half the price of an OtterBox and I would definitely buy again
