So Satisfying
I've been using it for a few years now. Original batteries still good. Flies are annoying, but the satisfaction I get while zapping them makes up for it a bit. It will even zap little fruit flies. I don't recommend picking it up at the head end, because you're likely to squeeze it just enough to get a taste of your own medicine!

Saved the day from the pesky gnats!
I don't write lots of reviews as they take time to write but sometimes I needed to write one just to share an amazing feature or vent out frustrations. In this case it is because I found this gadget an amazing way to get rid of pesky gnats. We have a nice outdoor garden area but kept getting pestered/bothered by gnats. These insects move quickly and are hard to kill. So after researching for ways to fight back we found this amazing zapper in the guise of a tennis racket. I play tennis so I found this gadget interesting. It arrived yesterday and after putting in the 2 AA battery started to use my tennis strokes against the gnats. And damn, it worked!! This gadget is amazing. It is like gold to me :-) It killed all the gnats and at the same time it gave a satisfying crackle and sizzle when it caught a gnat. It's also amazing exercise. Needless to say, I was able to get rid of the gnats that were pestering us and had a good exercise as well. I love this gadget!! Whoever invented this is a genius :-) Thanks for making this available to battle them gnats :-)

Likes to Zap you!
I recently purchased an electric bug zapper to help combat the mosquito infestation in my classroom. Overall, I have been very pleased with the product's performance. The bug zapper is easy to use and very effective at catching mosquitoes and other flying insects. I appreciate that I can use it on an occasional basis to quickly clear out the classroom before students arrive. However, there is one downside to the product that I have noticed. Even when I am not pushing the button, the zapper seems to zap me if I am not careful. This can be a bit of an annoyance, but it's a small price to pay for the effectiveness of the product. Despite this one drawback, I would still highly recommend the electric bug zapper to anyone in need of a quick and efficient way to get rid of flying insects. The product is reliable, durable, and works very effectively. Overall, a solid 4-star rating.

Keeps them bugs away
Can’t believe I didn’t have one sooner. Used to spen $8 a week on bug spray. This little racket is like fireworks all day long. Very accurate. I bought three for different rooms. Only bug that it did not kill was a wasp, but did zap it a couple of times Great product, but do buy Energizer batteries for better performance

Very, very fragile. Potentially came broken.
This product worked pretty nice for the first couple days. Then after a couple days it stopped popping flies, they'd just fly right through half the time, other half they'd get caught by the zapper. Thought I just had bad luck. Then I thought it just ate batteries fast so I put replacement ones in and was surprised to see flies just continue flying through with no response. Took it apart and the wire separated from the battery terminal, and the soldering for the ground or w/e that is connected to the metal net came loose. Now, I wasn't the only one using this so its possible someone hit something with it, But I don't think they did either. Which means these things came loose with normal swinging in the air which is this products intended use. Not only that but the plastic tabs that cheaply held this things racket together broke as well making the metal mesh net things come out a bit. Honestly this was a waste of money for me, I do much better just rolling up a magazine and smashing these suckers than relying on this.

Best buy of my life
I had one for a few years. It fell hard from a top shelf and broke. I will NEVER live without one of these rackets for the rest of my life, lol. Best flying bug killer ever.

Does its job but theres a lingering charge.
I've used this device a couple of times and it does what its supposed to do (kill bugs, mosquitos, moths etc.) but there is one glaring issue. Even after you've stopped pushing the button to activate the electric fly swatter theres a lingering electric charge still built up on the inner metal part. I've touched it a couple of times (to see how bad the shock is) and, at least when not pushing the button, the shock is so minor I felt no pain. Just the shock (yes there is an actual spark) of it happening will cause you to jump. I don't recommend you touch it though. If that left over charge issue wasn't there I'd have given this a 4 out of 5 stars (holding out a perfect score until I see how long it lasts..hoping at least a year).

Works great, even on fruit flys
Worked great on first day, maybe a 60% kill rate on tiny fruit flys. Than second day, not working, Checked batteries and voltage was only 1.4 volts. Replaced with new 1.7 volt AA's and it is again a great fly zapper,
