Comfortable, fits well, and I feel safe.
This was the third set of pads I tried, and the first that was a good fit on my thighs. I’m 5’4”, 125 lbs, and my thigh measurement above my knee is 17” around. I’m usually a small or medium in clothes, but I had to order adult large in all brands of knee pads. Even large measurements sometimes don’t go up to 17”. The first 2 brands I tried cut into my thigh too much, giving me “thigh muffin top”. I was lucky, finally, with this set. The pads each have a sleeve and Velcro straps, giving you the option to use the straps with or without the sleeve. I prefer using both. The wrist guards are a little large, but I can pull the straps tighter—it just has excess hanging off. The elbow pads fit well. I haven’t fallen full-force while using them roller skating yet, but when I knelt down to test them out, it was a pleasant, comfortable gel feeling. These are higher-quality than other brands I tried, and about $10 more, but definitely worth it. I like the drawstring bag it comes with—I just pop it in my backpack when I head out. The pads are more breathable if you don’t use the sleeve, but the wrist guards make my hands warm, and I sweat in them. All pieces are easy to move in, so it’s good performance, and they look good. Not bulky, and plain enough to go with any outfit. I’m very satisfied with my purchase!

Flexible and protective
I bought these for rollerblading, something I haven’t done since I was 10 and now I’m in my 30s and wanted some pads because I’m not sure how clumsy I’ll be. I appreciate that the knee pads don’t look like cheesy, circular, plastic bubbles on my legs..they have more of a rectangular shape, which is more fitting. I love that the knee and elbow pads go on like a sleeve, and are adjustable with the Velcro straps. They are flexible and movement is not restricted. This sure beats the cheap pads I had as a kid. Not only does the hard shell protect your joints, but there is additional surrounding padding extending from all sides around that plastic. I’m 5ft4in and bought the adult size pads. Perfect fit. The wrist pads also seem solid. Seems like a great value for quality and price. Would recommend.

Great price for some quality products.
A lot of knee and elbow pads can run up to $50 or $60 easily, so I was unsure how well these pads would work for the price tag. I am just learning to skate, so I can tell you, after several dozen falls, these pads have been great to use. I have even put them to use in other outdoor sport activities too. They fit comfortably and get the job done. If I had some critiques to make, I would say that they slide around a little around the knees, and I do need to pull them up a few times each hour. It was also kind of trial an error to determine which side is up for the knee pads, because there isn't any picture to tell you which way they go. There is writing though and I used that to determine how they should sit on my legs. So, maybe give a little picture guide for correctly putting them on, and work on the fit so the knee pads don't slip. Even then, they don't slip enough to be a problem, and once I tried them on the first day it was easy to remember which way was the right-side up. I'd absolutely suggest these to anyone looking for a pads on a budget. :)

Sturdy & safe
I bought these for protection as I learned to roller skate. I didn’t want to invest a lot in a new hobby in case I decided it wasn’t for me. I chose this set because it’s relatively inexpensive. Everything is as shown in the product photos and video. The knee pads and wrist guards fit well; they are not too bulky. They have kept me from getting scraped whenever I fall down, which is often. I don’t wear the elbow pads often. They’re fine, I just prefer to keep my arms bare. I like that the pads slide on and have Velcro straps to secure them. The whole set is comfortable and sturdy. Very well constructed. I bought another set of pads from another manufacturer because they we “cute.” And that’s when I saw the difference in quality. The cute set was poorly constructed, slid down my legs and arms, and the stitching was coming undone. I immediately returned them and went back to these. I’m considering ordering this set in blue.

High quality and perfect fit
This was the most expensive of the three sets of knee-elbow-wrist protection gear sets I order for my 11-yo daughter: $37 vs $31 vs $28. She picked this one as the most comfortable and best-fitting. After a two-week use she's very happy with it, I'm ordering another one as a gift for her friend she's rollerblading with.

Impressed!!!
Wow these are such a great deal! I’m a park, street quad skater and former derby player. I’ve been though 187s, smith scabs and triple eights. This set is probably one of my favorites so far and the price is phenomenal. My first impression was the small duffle the pads came in, it’s quality and I can see myself using this regularly to carry my gear. Most hundred dollar brands almost never offer a bag or extras with your purchase. The pads are very comfortable and lightweight. I can tell the company really took their time to design these to a human bodies joints instead of cutting out foam from a generic template. The knee pads are slim yet protective and well padded, they make doing crossovers a breeze. Definitely sticking with these for awhile and recommending whenever I can.

Strap length not sufficient for the location above the wrist
It seems like a human wrist measurement was used and not the measurement of the actual intended location, which is *above* the wrist. As a result the strap does not have that comfortable snug feeling because the tension pulls from one side and not evenly across the width. The other strap fits just right, feels comfortable and snug, so changing sizes would only throw that one off. Also in my experience the inch of exposed velcro hook scratches any skin that brushes against it, and catches on other fabric, becoming more than just a minor annoyance over time. Just seems like this could easily be solved and I don't understand why the problem is always skimping on the strap length. Oddly there is usually enough velcro, though often incorrectly located as a result of the too short strap. But it is so common a problem with this kind of equipment that I ordered a size larger than I wanted to right from the start. If the straps were adequate I could probably go down a size so the molded plastic would not be slightly too large for my hand. Also a minor gripe, but the color schemes? Why do the black pads have to have RED printing? Just make these neutral please. My son has the blue and black set of pads and the printing is blue. Not sure why the white is there on either one TBH. Maybe use just one color and spend the money on more webbing. The protectors seem durable enough and sufficient for casual recreational roller skating and are more comfortable than other brands I have tried on in the same price range. It also helps that several members of my family and I can use this same kit in the same size. I will keep this set of pads because I'm tired of ordering, trying on, and returning and I just want to get out skating. Hoping for improvements when I have to purchase these again in the future.
