These are my daily socks.I recommend these for everyone who enjoys a firm supportive feel to the leg while out and about.I wear them for support, no health issues.They make my legs feel so good.I like the firm compressing hug around my calves and ankles.It keeps the circulation stable in my calves and keeps fluid from building up.If you travel by plane a lot I absolutely recommend them. They prevent blood clots in the calves from sitting on long flights.They have different pressure stockings 15 being the lowest 30 being the highest.I wear the 30. It's a strong compression on the calves.This company jobst makes the best compression stockings. They are pricey at 30 to 60 dollars a pair.But worth it.

...but not the fault of the product. My elderly dad needed a pair of compression stockings due to bad swelling (edema) in his feet, ankles and legs up to his knees. I found these on the Amazon site, chose black, size L, and had them shipped to him (he lives several hours from me). When the stockings arrived, he looked at the size and didn't want to struggle getting them on. They looked too small for his swollen feet and legs. I got them back from him and rather agree that they are smaller than what I expected. Had I been able to see them before ordering, I would have chosen a larger size. I also was not clear as to how much compression he needed; this pair is 30-40mmHg rated as extra-firm. I've rated the stockings with 4 stars as they look like a very good quality that would last through a lot of wear, and would be perfect for the person who needs this level of compression at this size. Pro Therapy is allowing a return so I am in the process of doing that. Unless you know exactly what you need and have sized them in person, it is rather difficult choosing the right stocking, especially for someone else at a distance.

My son gets blood clots in his calfs and must wear support socks. He has tried several but these are by far his favorite. I have ordered many for him. Thanks for a great product!

I’ve been using cheap budget brands and they never did he job. I finally decided to spend the money on the namebrand product that many people said were the best. They were right! This is the first pair of compression socks that completely stops, my lower legs and ankles from swelling. This is the only brand I will ever buy.

I returned them because they are made of a very uncomfortable material that is almost rubber like. I tried another (more expensive, of course) model they make that uses a much more skin friendly material and it’s working out well. I prefer the socks made by Medi though, which can also be purchased right here on Amazon. They make socks for specific feet (each set has a L and a R foot specific sock) My mother ordered a set of those for me from Amazon, and they have the same compression but with a much more comfortable material. Unfortunately with high quality compression socks the adage is true, you get what you pay for. The lower cost socks typically are made with lower cost (=uncomfortable) materials. My advice is to spend a bit more and get more comfort. It’s worth the expense, and they will have a much higher chance at compliance due to that fact.

I tried quite many of them for long haul (>10hr) flights and this option looks the best from the price/gain point of view.I found them a little bit too strong for everyday use for me.

Modifying my review since the SELLER seems less than responsive to similar problems by the consumers. A family member purchased me several pairs as a gift. Two pairs of those support stockings developed holes in the toes from what can only be attributed to a manufacturing defect. The SELLER doesn't appear to be reaching out to the buyers of these products or going to his/her supplier to find a remedy in the consumers' favor, which must include a replacement or full refund. The SELLER appears to have ignored consumer reviews on Amazon to push things past the return date within the guidelines. This is not acting in good faith and I am dropping the star rating to one until some meaning remedy is offered by the SELLER.Original review before the holes appeared: Works perfectly! Ask your doctor what compression is right for you and it is important that you measure your calf and ankle for a proper fit.

My husband has to wear high compression socks, great wear, stay up. the petite were to short for him, he is 6'2", also like that the socks come in the colour of black. Better product then the Truform socks, after 6 or 7 wears of the socks the Truform ripped. The Jobst socks can go in the washer and I air dry

I have been wearing these for a few years now. The price is good and they last a long time even with machine washing and drying.

Legs feel great when I have to stand for long periods.
