Lilys Butterscotch Flavor Baking Chips

Amazon, you need to listen very carefully. I have had Lily’s butterscotch chips before and they are delicious. These are NOT them. I believe this is a fraudulent vendor selling absolute potentially harmful garbage for human consumption. You must take accountability for this and remove this product and vendor immediately. Lilys is a fantastic company with great products. We have bought many Lilys products (including butterscotch chips) many many times. Whatever this is IT IS NOT fit for human consumption, and I seriously doubt it is a genuine Lilys product. I believe this is fraudulent and possibly harmful for human consumption. You have been advised and are accountable.

These butterscotch baking chips taste awful. It tastes very much like chemicals. I am glad I only bought one bag. It is not returnable. It should be taken off the market. That is how bad the taste is. Cannot even swallow it.

As someone who LOVES the Lily’s milk chocolate and white chocolate chips, I was excited to try these. Man was I disappointed!! They taste like chemicals and I can’t tell if it’s from the bag they’re in (the other chips come in a different type bag) or the product itself but I can’t even eat them! Unfortunately they aren’t allowing returns so I’m out almost $12 and they’re going right in the garbage : (

They arrived melted and in a clump. The tast at first is very good.and butterscotch-y. Then you're smacked in the tastebuds with a weird chemical taste that seeps into your tastebuds.... They're actually kinda gross. I rarely them a 1 out of 10 🤢

Disgusting aftertaste. Tastes like chemicals! Expected them to be like the white chocolate sugar free the company markets....they are not. I wouldn't feed these to anyone! They taste like rat poison smells! An expensive throwaway!

I was soooo disappointed!! I love Lilly’s chips, especially the milk chocolate and white chocolate. I will eat them all, but these were so bad they were actually inedible! I had to throw them away which was so sad because I NEVER throw away sweets. I don’t know how to describe the flavor but it was nothing like butterscotch or even anything sweet. Very disappointing

Similar to other reviews (which I wish I would have read before purchasing) there was a disgusting aftertaste which had the essence of mothballs. The butterscotch smell was so strong and sweet that it was a huge surprise while eating for the tastebuds to be assaulted with such a toxic taste.

Very pleased with this product. Wish Lily's would start making other sugar free / keto products featuring their own chocolate: cookies, ice cream, etc.
