March 2023 Update: This is my 7th year of using this product, and it remains at the top of my list. November 20, 2021 Update: Year 5, still plant based and this remains my top vegan protein powder. I order vanilla, chocolate and peanut butter regularly, based on the current price. I only wish they had additional flavors, such as banana and perhaps, strawberry. I have never tried the green flavor. I will never be that health conscious. LOL! As a caveat, I also do not like the flavor of green tea, but use it as a facial toner. I can also say that I often see this product in health food stores for almost double the Amazon price. 2016 Review: I became a vegetarian in 1972 and switched to a plant based diet solely in 2010. Trust me, in this period of time I have tried some really good vegan products, as well as some really bad vegan products. This one is a 'really good' product. Ingredients - The ingredients are clean and contain per serving (2 scoops): 4 grams of fat, 180 mg of sodium, 5 grams of fiber and 21 grams of protein. **This is the chocolate. The vanilla may vary slightly, but I have purchased both numerous times. Flavor - The flavor is outstanding. I often wonder how it can taste so good, without being full of not so healthy ingredients. There is zero after taste, chemical or fake taste. Recipe - I have purchased both vanilla and chocolate numerous times. As a matter of fact, I order 2 containers a month. I always mix with almond milk - either vanilla or chocolate. Chocolate almond milk + chocolate protein is a chocolate lovers delight. Vanilla almond milk + vanilla protein is a vanilla bean lovers delight. Any combo of both flavors is a perfect mocha flavor. During the day I mix 2 scoops of the protein with 8 ounces of almond milk. I sometimes add chia and flax seeds and they mix well, considering I am only using a shaker cup. In the evening I mix 1 frozen banana, 2 scoops of protein with almond milk and again, sometimes add chia and flax seeds. This is my favorite way to make it. When adding the banana and seeds, it actually becomes more of a custard than a shake. You can't even detect the seeds, whereas you can when you only use a shaker cup. The consistency in general is more on the thicker side. I do not like watery or really thin shakes. I use a straw to consume out of the shaker cup, but a spoon when mixing with a banana. Cost - This is probably the most reasonable cost I have come across for a good vegan protein. There are 20 two scoop servings per container. The chocolate costs just over $22 per canister and the vanilla costs about $1.50 more. I am not sure of the reason for the cost difference, but at one point it was a $5 difference. Even at that price, it was still the best I have come across. This is definitely a 5 star product. I purchase this with my own money and have not received a discount, nor incentive to purchase. I chose to try it based on the reviews.

I love this protein powder. The protein content with 21 grams is great. I love the creaminess making it easy to drink and not that chalk taste you get from other powders. Quality is great and it’s pretty easy to clean up.

I have just opened my first jug of this protein. I had been using a pea protein my exercise coach sells but it is much more expensive so I decided to try this. I make a protein smoothie each evening for my meal with spinach, avocado, blueberries and banana in whole milk. No clumping, just right thickness, no chalky taste or texture, wonderful chocolate taste and it has a good amount of fiber. I’ve not experienced cramping or bloating. I use 1 and a half scoops right now to get my digestive system adjusted to this formula. I am very pleased with this product and will be ordering from now on with subscribe and save.

I'll preface this by stating that I try to never review a product until I've been using it for at least two+ weeks. So after two weeks and going to the gym 6 out of 7 days a week, here's an honest opinion... Pros: - Ridiculously easy to mix -- could just mix it with my eyes. - Stevia over other synthetic sweetners/sugars (some may find Stevia disgusting, for me, I find the taste decent enough to put over my cereal) - No stomach issues to report (I'm severely lactose intolerant and have several other food allergies that have put me in the ER) - Priced fairly well for what it offers compared to other competitors Cons: - Taste -- SUPER chalky -- probably one of the worst tasting powders I've tried (1 star off) - Minor gripe -- the scoop was buried deep in the pits of powder hell. I tried to fish it out with a knife, spoon, and fork... no dice. I finally cursed, "[dang-diddly diddly do-dang]," brought out the jaws of life and buried my hand in. Despite using my hand, I still had to do some casual spear fishing for a few minutes until I finally got it out. (1 star off). Other thoughts: Despite the taste, this powder is one of the few out there that doesn't give me the rumbley tumblies or the quacking ducks, so I can't complain too much. My intestines are thankful for the lack of dairy ingredients, as well as the E.R. doctors being thankful for not having to inject muscle relaxants/fluids into me at THREE-IN-THE-MORNING(twice). While it doesn't contain as much protein per scoop as other competitors, it offers a great choice for those who are like me and have severe food allergies, but still want their protein. A good product that has the potential to be great, but definitely needs a bit more work in the taste department. Otherwise, this will be my go-to protein for the time being. Overall: 5/7 stars.

I've tried quite a few protein powders over the years, and this has become one of my favorites. The Creamy Chocolate Fudge flavor tastes great—not overly sweet or chalky like so many others. One of the biggest reasons I keep ordering it is that it's easy on my stomach. Other protein powders causing bloating or discomfort, but this one has been gentle and easy to digest. On top of that, Amazon consistently has the best price I've found, especially with Subscribe & Save. Great taste, quality ingredients, and an excellent value. I'll definitely keep buying it!

Way cheaper than glucerna. It did take some digging to get to scoop. I only used one scoop and it was good can’t imagine using 2 scoops in 12 ounces of almond milk. I got this because I found out I have diabetes and dr put me in ozempic. So after a month of puking I had to do something. Held this down. I use it as a breakfast substitute. Idk how people do ozempic but I need to lose weight so I’m dealing with it. If you’re in same situation I’d say try this. Taste is great and I only used half dose.

This has been my protein powder for the past few years. However, I only bought it from Amazon one time. The ones that I bought on Amazon seem to be bigger containers and have more product in them than the ones I buy at Walmart. So far, I've only opened the chocolate one. It actually smells like chocolate. It also tastes like chocolate. Two scoops is one serving, the more often than not I will just put one scoop in my blender bottle to make it stretch and if I need more protein later in the day, I will just eat a protein bar. It is 150 calories per serving. It mixes very well in blender bottles with metal balls. But I will say it doesn't mix quite as well in blender bottles with plastic balls. So if you have a blender bottle with a plastic ball, you might want to buy an additional metal ball to help it blend better. Otherwise you're going to be shaking for a while. Once you do shake it enough, it absorbs into the water completely. I also saw that they had other flavors on the actual website for this brand. They of course have chocolate and vanilla. But they also have strawberry, they have some seasonal flavors, they also have a coffee flavored one. But I usually buy the chocolate and vanilla, because some of the other ones have things that I'm allergic to in them. If you are allergic to coconut, hazelnut, walnut, or lemon then I suggesting your protein powders very carefully. Because some other protein powders from this brand and a lot of protein powders from other brands actually do have these ingredients in them. This brand is certified organic and vegan friendly, if those are things that are important to you. But yeah, I think that I will continue to use this brand for a long time.

This one tastes like chocolate fudge - have tried a few other brands but this one is pretty true to taste.

Organic, tasty ( even with water only), good nutrition facts number 21g protein and 2g fiber no sugar and some vitamins, no stomach issues like with whey protein, not thick and heavy on stomach like some plant protein. I have tried a lot of protein powders (plant and animal protein powders) so far this is the best.
