Every time I remember to take these when I start getting sick (which is a LOT from being in college) I end up totally fine in like three days. If I don't take these I end up sick for three weeks minimum. They taste pretty good, apparently elderberry helps with inflammation too, I mostly like that they're purple.

A nurse practitioner introduced me to ZIcam as a great way to shorten the duration of colds and I totally believe it works to boost your immune system. The cost is good relative to what it can do to minimize your downtime or productivity. Take as recommended, every few hours. I even take it when I know that my immune system may be compromised, i.e. if I'm on a red-eye, not getting enough sleep, etc. I like this flavor, but Orange is fine too.

This stuff works - I always have it on hand if I am exposed to someone who is sick or if I get the slightest feeling I’m coming down with a cold - I start taking it! Same goes for my entire household when they start complaining they aren’t feeling well!

Whether it is a placebo effect or not, it seriously does work. I take this every time I feel a cold coming on (especially a tickle in my throat starting) and I swear it does reduce my cold symptoms and severity. They are easy to take throughout the day and are relatively safe, just do not overdo it.
