I wear a 5 1/2 and wear size medium (8-9 1/2) Jefferies socks, but they fit just right. You are right on the border between medium and large, maybe try one of each? I know you asked this several months ago, but hope this helps!

I just bought the sock size Medium 8-9.5 (shoe size:12-6) and they were to small/tight for my daughter that wears a size 4 shoe. I’m thinking maybe a large would fit her. The medium fit my daughter that wears a size 13 shoe.
