can it be used for indoor storm windows

Mylar is the best of all storm window plastics because it is so clear, but you must use it on the inside of the window if you expect it to last more than a couple years, because glass will block the UV, which would destroy the plastic outside. You can use anywhere from about .003 to .005 for storm windows, and you do need a good quality double stick tape to stretch it and hold it on.
