Sometimes, good things do happen! Two days ago, I was standing in front of a huge bowl of mixed vegetables that I blanched, when one after the other, like a kitchen horror movie where no one dies, both of my food savers broke! I was so mad, I'm sure everyone could hear my scream from Boca Raton to Mara Lago! One was so old it weighed a ton! The other was all plastic. By 7 p.m. I was done; I was ready to toss out the whole project but got online for one more chance at saving the veggies by buying and one more food saver machine. In the middle of the higher priced items, I found this gem! I struck food saver gold! It arrived in a big heavy box, stuffed full of free different size bags and a very heavy super EZ to use machine that sucks so strongly, in sec., I could seal up anything, in seconds! My other two machines were finicky about vacuuming out the air if the plastic bag got wet one bit, not this bad boy! For the price I was expecting to strike out, to prove to myself that I should just give up on the whole idea of helping my two loves of my life, lose weight by adding in vegetables into their daily meal plans, which they hate anyway. Dogs, they know when mom is mad! Well, mom is very happy today since I went on a tear and sealed many things, all for them, from chicken to fish and even the 11 sweet potatoes I bought for $2. New to food saving, this is the best deal, on the planet! I swore I would never ever, do any of this, so I know exactly what a few of you are thinking. By me, farmers markets mark everything down right before closing and on Sunday nights, for the dollar table out front. Most of it is bruised but damaged in any way. This is where you can find an amazing assortment of things, I highly recommend it. Btw, this item is not too large, it is smaller than my other two and fits nicely anywhere.

I received this vacuum sealer as a wedding gift over a year ago, and I use it almost every week. It has truly become a lifesaver in my kitchen and is one of the appliances I reach for most often. I use it for everything from meat and soups to coffee beans, and honestly, the list could go on. It is very easy to use, with only a few simple buttons, and the controls are clear and easy to understand. I also love that it automatically seals, which makes the process even more convenient. Sealing doesn't take much time, so it is easy to use when storing leftovers, preparing food, or preserving ingredients. The machine is also compact and stores easily without taking up too much space. Overall, this has been an amazing product that I have used consistently for over a year. I definitely don't regret adding it to my wedding registry, and it has become a very useful appliance in my kitchen.

I have only used it twice since I bought it; I tend to just use a sealer when I buy in bulk for freezing. Today, I pulled it out, cut a length off a roll of vacuum seal bag, and stuck it in....tried to seal it, but it burned through in a couple of spots, didn't seal at all in a couple of others. I contacted MegaWise's support center throught their page chat option, and and the rep Yiane walked me through a couple of things to see why it was doing it, and low and behold if I then noticed the plastic piece in it that had been in there when I bought it, as a spacer. I had put it back in after the last use for storage, and forgot about it...my old sealer I had had for many years before it died did not have a plastic piece like that, so it didn't occur to me to take it out and try again. That solved the problem, and even though I felt quite foolish for wasting this lady's time, she was was very nice about it. Great service...there is also a phone number if you choose to actually speak to someone, be it for a blonde moment or an actual problem.

I’ve been using it for meal prep and it definitely helps keep food fresher longer. The built-in cutter is a nice touch and makes customizing bags simple. Seal quality is good overall, but I did notice that sometimes the vacuum could be a little tighter, especially with softer or moist foods—you may need to run it twice for the best result. For the price, it’s a solid value and a great option if you want something simple and effective.

I've used this model now approximately a dozen times. Pros - Price is excellent, easy to use, has a bag cutter on top which is nice feature. Does an adequate job. Cons - Suction is lacking. Wet product (like chicken breasts for example) seems to leave too much air in bag and doesn't provide that exceptional seal I'm looking for. It also has two little white clips that you are supposed to use to guide your bag in, but they are spaced too wide for small bag, and they fall out constantly during use or moving it around. Somewhere along the way I've already lost one of them.

I'm obsessed with this vacuum sealer. It's perfect for me as a home cook who's obsessed with being frugal, meal prepping and not wasting food. I use this to stock up my freezer when I find deals. I've used it for ground beef, bratwursts, chiles, mixed veg for soups, and fruits. I write the contents and date right on the bags with a sharpie and my freezer has never been more organized. For the price you can't go wrong with this sealer.

Vacuum sealing saves a ton of space compared to bulky containers and random half open packaging, and everything looks cleaner and more organized. It also makes it easier to portion things out, so I’m not defrosting more than I need, which is a big part of why I wanted it in the first place

I've had this vacuum sealer for just shy of 3 years. I really haven't used it too terribly much until the last year or so. My dog has a really bad storage mite allergy, so I started vacuum sealing his very expensive food and putting it in the freezer. So here lately I have been using it a lot more. Over the weekend we processed 16 roosters and went to vacuum seal them and both my sealer and my mom's sealer were having issues. She used to have this same sealer but was having issues with hers so replaced it with another brand. Mine was melting the bags when it would seal half of the time, but we finally managed to get all the roosters ready for camp Kenmore. My dog is on a special diet right now to do a food trial, and today we finally get to add in our first protein to challenge. Since we just processed those roosters, his first challenge is chicken. I cooked one up in my instant pot, deboned it, and was going to vacuum seal 2.5oz portions for him. About halfway through I was done with this machine. The heat strip keeps separating from the machine. This results in either no seal, a melted seal that fails, or hot spots melting through the seal causing it to fail. Other than the heat strip, it is still vacuuming and all other features are working, but being able to seal is sort of an important feature. I've appreciated it over the last 3 years, but today I had to throw in the towel. I'm going to have to order another sealer. I have a whole bag of dog food I need to seal and there's simply no way I will be able to do it with this sealer. I've attached a picture to this review of how the heat strip is separating from the machine. I'm giving it 3 stars because it did work for a good while, but you definitely get what you pay for. If you want something that will last, you're going to have to spend a lot more money. I'm not sure how much I want to spend but I probably will get something nicer than this one. Another complaint I had is that it can be a challenge to close the lid and keep your bag in place. That's a feature I will be sure to research better for my next one. Overall, it was a good little machine and it had a good run, but for as much as we seem to be sealing lately I'm going to have to invest in something a bit more durable.

Man muss erstmal ein bisschen rum probieren. Die ersten Versuche sind in die Hose gegangen, jetzt habe ich den Dreh raus. Wichtig ist das die Feuchtigkeit der Zutaten. Bei zuviel Feuchtigkeit bei der "Dry" Einstellung saugt es Dir die Flüssigkeit raus und versiegelt nicht richtig. Ich benutze es zum Gemüse frisch halten, Fleisch marinieren oder zum einfrieren. Ein gutes Produkt, kann ich empfehlen wenn man etwas Geduld hat. Viele Grüße euer Henri.

I have this vacuum sealer for 1 1/2 years and it continues to do a good job by keeping my food fresh and last longer. The unit is small, handy and easy to store. I am particularly impressed by the customer support. Lately I had a minor issue with my machine. I requested a call and they call me back within a couple of seconds. Despite the expiration of warranty, they attended to my issue patiently and resolved my problem instantly. I highly recommend this vacuum sealer as it is compact, reliable and the quality is good with affordable price.
