The advantage of this set of white balance cards is the size. Though I have other smaller cards, these allow you to take a photograph under any light conditions, then easily adjust the WB using Lightroom or Photoshop by clicking on the gray card in the image. The lanyard allows you to attach the cards to your camera backpack or just hang them around your neck. These are an essential part of the photographer's tool kit.

simple and basic tool for anyone who cares about white balance. and you should, especially if you shoot jpeg only or shoot raw and want a reference for post processing. mind you, the cards each feature a different texture on each side. one side is highly textured while the other is as smooth as possible without being glossy. if you know what you're doing you'll appreciate this minor detail. weirdly, a lot of cards lack this.

I have used Grey Cards for white balance setting before, but this one is exceptionally durable and compact. It fits well in my small camera travel bag and helps to set the proper color for my photos. I am very glad I made this purchase.

There are two sides to these cards, one is smooth and one is textured so that the light is reflected nicer to the camera. If you are planning on using these cards on the lanyard you should know that the white card is punched opposite of the others! If you wanted to use the rough side of the white card and the gray card at the same time on the lanyard you can not. My white card also came with black marks on it that I can't seem to get off. I'm disappointed in the manufacturing defect of the incorrect corner of the white card being punched and even more so that the white card was shipped defective.

I only really use the grey card but the white card is also very useful for colour grading. Perfect size to fit in a cargo pocket, light enough to wear around the neck with the lanyard for easy access. The cards are high quality and great value for money. I’ve had no problems at all. Would recommend.
