GS GLOWSEEN Pen Light LED Pen with Light, Light Up Penlight for Night Writing...

Fantastic light pen. Brighter then any light pen I have ever used. Real sturdy and made with quality materials, not cheap and flimsy. Feels real nice in my hand, nice weight, balanced and writes very nice and smooth, flows nicely across the page. Ink is always there even if I haven't used in several days, no need to prime, shake or scratch to get the ink flowing. Dries quickly, no smudges. The size is a little larger than I usually use and I thought that may be a problem when I first removed them from the package but now I wish I switched to this size years ago. I feels wonderful after writing long periods of time. Doesnt bother my arthritis like the standard size pens do. Love all the extra ink refills and batteries it comes with. Havent had to use any yet they last a long time. Customer service is amazing. Fast response to any issues or questions I had. One of the best experiences I have had on Amazon. Would buy from again in a heartbeat, will and have recommended to friends and family.

I was so impressed when unpacking the set since enclosed were ink refills, batteries to replace in the pen first needing it and the type/size required is a standard size easily bought here on Amazon in qty for a couple bucks. Along with these unexpected freebees is the best instructions and customer relations slip. The pens work perfectly for my expectations since I bought them to take down quick notes after lights out where I scribble at best what it is Im trying to jot but don't wanna turn on light to disrupt my settled/sleepy feeling. The pen writes smoothly and it is well made in general--not at all the typical import junk. They go out of their way to be available to you so any needed help or issues get addressed/corrected which is a breath of fresh air from the typical -your own your own and good luck nothingness that comes with what is made as disposable items. These are in no way disposable but instead made to last. I am very impressed and also pleased I can now jot a quick note in the dark and it be legible in the am and not a struggle to try and jot blind in the darkness.....the light is just right to see what I am doing.

The pen itself is wonderful, and so is the service. I love the red color light because it does not disturb anyone else's vision or sleep when I use it. It writes well. It came with extra batteries that were beyond my expectation in number. The only thing is that when I got my first box of two Glowseen pens, like others have reported, one of the pens did not work. However, when I contacted them about this problem, they sent out another box right away. That replacement box had two pens and extra batteries also, not just a replacement pen. Therefore I seem to have gotten three pens for the price of two, plus a load of extra batteries. But it is a puzzle as to why so many people receive a box that has "one bad pen" in it from the beginning. That is the only reason for my four stars rather than five. And I will say, the pens seem to be continuing to work well - no more duds. Because I have been slow in writing this review, I have had the chance to use the pens for quite a while, and they continue to be reliable and write well. Thank you to Glowseen for the great service! I would not hesitate to buy this product again, but if I were giving it as a gift or needed it in a timely manner, I'd just make sure I had time to get the replacement since it has been reported that sometimes one won't work and I shared that same experience.

I enjoy astronomy. When observing in the dark night I often take notes about the observations. Today I fumble with a light that I hold in my mouth so I can see my notes and what I am writing. This lighted pen makes taking notes so much easier. The light is well focused to the pad so it works well. I may choose to mask some of the barrel to avoid side scatter but as it comes out of the box it works well. Included was two pens, each with batteries and refill installed. Then there is an extra set of batteries for each and 6 refills. I consider this an EXCELLENT value and am very pleased with my purchase. I can't say how they will perform over time but they seem solidly made so I don't anticipate any issues. I have not tried this for reading charts yet but the clip on nature might work well for charts too. Perhaps clipped to my shirt cuff or my pocket would work. Right now I use a clip on light but it is large and awkward. This might work better, but I didn't purchase it for this purpose. I would recommend this pen for anyone taking notes in the dark. The red color should work well to help maintain dark adaption.

Battery life not that long if used on a regular basis. Wish that the ink flow was better. Some issues when twisting the pen to retract the cartridge or to extend it for writing. Update 5/29/24 I was extremely pleased that the company understood and listened to my concerns. I was offered replacement pens and batteries for the ones that didn't function properly. I received new pens and I am pleased with the pens and the wonderful customer service. I recommend these pens. The pens are great for night writing, or dim light which I do a lot of for my line of work. I will definitely purchase more in the future. Thanks.

These are lovely pens.. I love the weight. It writes smoothly and the extra cartridges and batteries are really great. The light is really cool although I haven't woken up in the middle of the night to record dreams, so haven't actually had the opportunity to test that part. However, did try to record a dream this morning, and the ink cartridge keeps retracting as I write, (it screws in and out to retract and extend) which is annoying, and I can probably fix it with a bit of tape and just leave it extended, but not ideal.

Great customer service and I like the pens now! I had shared my frustration with the set of pens I had received - the lights kept going on by themselves even after exchanging the batteries and trying to readjust the pen and off when I wanted it on - and the seller contacted me. Then without me having responded they sent me a new double set of pens. Wow. Thank you. These do work great and I gifted one to a friend already who also is enjoying it. Old review: I can't seem to make it work for me. The light goes on when I don't want it to or goes off when I want it to stay on. It's been that way since I got it. I played with the pen and the battery for a while and then just ignored it. I'm disappointed. Maybe I should have contacted the manufacturer right way and returned it. I was busy and didn't prioritize it. I like the concept and was looking forward to using it. Seems like others have had good experiences with this pen and light.
