⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth Every Penny – Perfect Starter Espresso Machine!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth Every Penny – Perfect Starter Espresso Machine! The main reason I bought the Chefman Crema Deluxe Espresso Machine is because I have been spending about $100 a week at Starbucks for YEARS. That’s roughly $5,200 a year, which is honestly wild when you stop and think about it. I finally decided it was time to start making my favorite drinks at home and save some serious money. I typically drink lattes, caramel macchiatos, and the occasional cappuccino, and this is my first experience ever making espresso drinks at home. I spent days researching machines, reading reviews, and even went down the Reddit rabbit hole. I seriously considered higher-end machines like Breville, Ninja, and even the Casabrew, which all had great reviews. I figured even if I spent $1,000, I’d still save money in the long run—but since this is my first rodeo, I decided to start with something more affordable. I kept coming back to the Chefman, and I’m so glad I did. The price is fantastic for what you get, especially because it has a dual boiler, meaning you can pull espresso shots and steam milk at the same time. Since every drink I love involves steamed milk, this was a HUGE selling point for me. I did purchase the 3-year warranty after reading a few reviews mentioning leaks or steaming issues. That said, I have not experienced any of those problems. I’ve had the machine since Friday and use it multiple times a day—every morning and evening—and it’s been great. Setup was easy, and it’s very user-friendly for beginners. To personalize my drinks, I picked up some vanilla sweet cream and also signed up for an espresso subscription that sends beans from around the world. My first bag was from Papua New Guinea, which was tasty, but I also bought Starbucks espresso beans, and so far those have been my favorite. They’re darker, a bit oily, and produce a rich, bold espresso that I love. My lattes and caramel macchiatos have been turning out amazing, and I truly enjoy the process of making my own drinks. Being able to steam milk and pull shots at the same time makes everything quicker and easier. If you’re on the fence about this machine—just pull the trigger. You’ll thank yourself later. And if you’re worried about potential issues, I recommend grabbing the warranty like I did for peace of mind. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It’s well made, pulls great espresso, offers dual boiler functionality, and is an incredible value for the price. Highly recommend! ☕️👏

Update: broke after 5 months
Update: I enjoyed this product thoroughly from January until mid April every single day 2-3 times a day. It worked perfectly up until about 2 weeks ago, the seal for the milk frother seams to no longer work so that the milk does not froth like it used to and I have to press it up against the machine to work. The electronics broke after that and it no longer lets me us the touch screen. The original on and off button works and the display lights up but it does not work. It was wonderful while it lasted and I am very disappointed that it no longer works as it made my life so much easier, especially when I would prep everything the night before. Original: I ended up getting the Krups coffee grinder and the chef man barista pro espresso machine. My only regret is that I did not do this two years ago. I had a $50 espresso machine from Walmart that worked OK but did not have an even pour and the espresso was always a little weak. The chef man was a gift, and the Krups I got to go with it so I could make sure that I had freshly ground espresso so that my coffee had the best flavor like Starbucks or Lineage or Foxtail coffee. The Krups grinder allows you to select what size you want the grounds to be for making lattes or cappuccinos do you want to make sure that it’s about the coarseness of table salt to make sure that your espresso machine gives you the best espresso. In order to make sure it was the coarseness of salt I set it on between the little dot and dash on the particle size dial of krups grinder. The grinder is easy to use, it is not insanely loud but it isn’t quite either. It is loud enough to wake up somebody if they are in an adjacent room to the kitchen. The particle sizes are about 80% consistent, which is good enough for making sure that your espresso brews well. The chef man barista pro is also not quiet by any means but it’s 25% the volume level of the screaming espresso machine with frother I had from Walmart. The chef man barista pro saves me so much time in the morning making my espresso drinks because it measures out the liquid and has a measuring scoop for the coffee I grind before I pack it into the porta filter with the easy coffee measuring scoop and tamper and brews the correct amount of water and froths the correct amount of milk. It takes about 45 seconds to make a latte which used to take me five minutes to set everything up and froth and heat my milk. I was a little grossed out by the milk reservoir but if you have leftover milk I put it in the fridge for a day or two. I use planet oat unsweetened oat milk with about a tablespoon or two of the planet oat oat milk creamer, but I will say the oat milk that froths the best is Califia farms oat BARISTA BLEND that comes in a little blue box. This honestly will save me so much money and will pay for itself within the first month considering how much coffee I’ve been getting on the way to work or having delivered home with uber eats. The chef man barista pro espresso machine did have a little bit of a plastic chemical smell. I cleaned it really well with a straw pipe cleaner and dawn powerwash and I ran it outside probably 20 or 30 times over the course of a couple hours to get rid of the smell to make sure it was safe to have in the house as I have multiple pet birds who can actually be killed by the chemical coating left on during the manufacturing process (this is not to be confused with Teflon although it does kill your bird similar to Teflon with how it causes pneumonia and respiratory failure where they “randomly” drop dead two weeks later ) on some of the kitchen machines. The KRUPS grinder did not have a smell. Overall I’m pretty pleased and have been happily getting jacked up on unlimited lattes. I will update this review in six months or a year if anything goes wrong as long as I do not explode my heart from all the delicious espresso drinks I’m drinking now.

Great Coffee Maker- with Bonus Barista Practice!
I bought this coffee maker a few months ago, and it’s been amazing. It’s super fast, really easy to use, and the water tank is large, so I don’t have to refill it constantly. Plus, the coffee it brews is just perfect—nice and frothy on top, just the way I like it. In fact, I can even practice my barista skills, adding little drawings in the foam. If you want a reliable, easy-to-use coffee maker, this is the one!

Two month service life.
Makes great coffee, looks clean and professional. Easy to use, slight learning curve for us on tamping down the grind and learning ideal grind sizes. Unfortunately this machine is starting to fail just outside the return window- Only worked TWO months before we started having problems and machine errors. Only made two per day. Expresso extract started slowing to a trickle despite frequent cleaning, descaling and filter changes. Grinder efficiency also dropped. The grind quantity and size started wandering despite the settings not being changed. Grinder was also disassembled and cleaned with out effect. This machine is not serviceable. Can only be minimally disassembled for basic cleaning, which does not have an effect on the issue. Wouldve been satisfied if it lasted just a year. The price point for two months of reliable service isn't justifiable. Would be cheaper to purchase coffee at an establishment.

It’s a good beginner machine.
Okay, here goes- I didn’t care much about looks but it’s attractive. I wanted function. The built-in grinder is great. I only wish I could control how much of the grounds go into the portafilter. The shots, when tamped, seem to need more grounds. Shots don’t always pull right. You probably want to grind a bunch of coffee and put it into an airtight container so you have more control over how much goes into the portafilter. When pulling shots, the amount of water for a double shot is lacking. It needs to run a bit more water for a full double. I did need to program the temperature higher as the shots weren't hot enough. I might even raise the temp again so my coffee brews just right. As far as taste of the shots, they seemed bitter but I don’t like it straight. I add flavor or chocolate syrup to my cup and brew the shot into it so I never really get the coffee flavor by itself. The steamer is wonderful. Heats the milk well. I did have to buy a bigger pitcher than what it came with as it’s too hard to hold onto once it’s hot. Using the bigger pitcher, I heat the milk, then lower the pitcher until the steam head is “sipping” the milk at the very top. This makes a wonderful tight foam you can play with to make hearts and flowers on the top of your coffee. Steam the milk first then brew your shot. The milk will stay hot while you brew and you’ll get the best result for your capp or latte. The downside: I never got any cleaning tools with my machine. I’m trying to get in contact with Chefman to get some. I can’t stress how important it is to keep your machine in good shape so you get your money’s worth. Hopefully this helps you decide on a machine.

I use it at least once per day for lattes and love it!
So far, this machine has far exceeded my expectations! The grinder works great. Once I found the correct settings for the beans I was using, I’ve been good to go! The biggest reasons I chose this machine were 1) the price, 2) the grinder was included, 3) it has a duel boiler so you don’t have to wait in between pulling shots and steaming milk. The steam wand works great. I get very good microfoam when steaming the milk. It comes with a nice tamper, not a cheap plastic one. Clean up after each use is easy. I make sure to run water through the group head and wipe it off. Temperature seems on point. It’s also a nice looking machine. It’s been a few months, and no issues. I’d definitely recommend!

Lasted 4 years
Made it 4 years before the froth side quit working. Regularly cleaned and decalcified. Too bad, really enjoyed it.

Looks sharp, works well.
Love this machine! Looks sharp, shows quality, and does exactly what you expect it to do.....brew a nice espresso. If you have watched any videos on making espresso at home, they all say it will take some practice. No truer words were ever spoken. As I use it more and more, I am starting to get better results. So, be patient. It will take some trial and error. I actually like a latte as my go to drink. The double boiler in this machine makes this a very easy task.

Good machine
I've been using this for about a month. I work as a barista. Maybe if you're more particular about your espresso and foam, you wouldn't like this. But I think for most people's purposes, it does the job well. It doesn't pull ristretto or long shots. The foam often comes out a bit more bubbly than I'd like. But I'm not too particular and often in a rush, so the fact that you don't have to stand there and stream the milk is super convenient. Plus, it's less messy. The shots it pours are perfect to me, they have the right consistency and there are distinct layers to it (like crema). Overall I'm happy, I think for the price this is a good machine.
