For let you know their difference eaiser, we compare these two kinds of connectors from 4 aspects as follow:

1. Simplicity of Operation. For joining the wire with heat shirnk butts, you need a heat gun and plier, but for the solder seal coneecotrs, you just need a heat gun, as there is no need to crimp. So, the solder seal connector will be easier to use. 
2. Waterproof Resistance. Both of them are waterproof, but there are two hot melt waterproof adhesive rings in the solder seal connectors, which will make it get a better waterproof and seal performance. 
3. Flexibility of Use in The Confined Space. The solder seal connectors can be bent after connection and just need a heat gun to control the temperature to finish the joint, so it is more flexable and eaier when joining wire in the confined space.
