Simple and elegant, quality product, Made in Germany, what else is there to say!!!
I initially broke one plate and I wasn't at first aware you can purchase them here at amazon. I got my original plates from Germany, at a Villeroy & Boch store, but I am glad that Amazon has them in stock. If you know V&B it's in great quality, the colors never fade, it feels extra thick and great quality. It's Microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Made still in Germany.

I love the style of these dishes
I love the style of these dishes. The narrow flat rim makes them very versatile. Soft white color that goes with anything. I bought the Artensano Provencal Verdure green rice bowls and salad plates to compliment these plates. So far they show no marks from utensils. They came boxed well with no damage. A great value. Villeroy and Boch makes an excellent product.

Flawless product. But, for everyday use, products from Gibson Home are much more economical. So, unless you're trying to impress other people, save your money.
