I grew up in Japan and am familiar with Celsius. So the thermometer that came with this was perfect to make Japanese chicken Karaage. I would have given it 5 stars but the drain grill is a little bit flimsy. Overall it’s great for making deep fried foods, especially TONKATSU, TEMPURA, and KARAAGE. The pot can also be used as a NABE hotpot which I used it for as well. The handy thermometer great too, great design and well thought out.
