Vax SpotWash Portable Carpet & Upholstery Spot Cleaner CDCW-CSXS

It's difficult not to get excited about this mini vax as a 30 year old with a clumsy streak and a young puppy, but here we are. This was absolutely the BEST purchase of 2025 for me. I also own the full size vax, but this makes small areas so much easier to clean without needing to pull out the huge heavy machinery. The item itself is fairly light for its size and shape, meaning I can carry it to wherever it's needed. The SpotWash is so handy to use and highly effective. I recently spilled some fountain pen ink on my grey carpet, and this sorted it out in a flash without leaving a trace. The pieces fit together easily, making each section easy to clean after use. Plus, the cord is long enough that I've never struggled to reach the area needed. If you think you might need it - just buy it!

Item arrived very well boxed and with very clear and concise instructions. But we found that priming for the first time, did not work if you followed the instructions. We found that putting the unit on a higher up stair and holding the hose end at a much lower level and then following the instructions it made the priming work first time . Apart from that this cleaner is truly a great piece of kit and does an amazing job and leaves behind a very clean carpet which is almost dry but needs maybe an hour or two to be totally dry. But be prepared it’s very noisy in use, and is heavy but not an issue when in use. The cable length is long enough to go the height of the stairs but for us with the placement of our mains plugs required an extension cable. As already said this is an excellent carpet cleaner and whilst you may think that your carpet is clean, as we did, you will be amazed at how much crud comes out of that carpet, especially as we have woofers and we vacuum every other day and daily during the moulting seasons, but the difference really is noticeable. A great purchase, should have purchased this VAX earlier.

I bought this product as I am 7 months pregnant and a little cleaning obsessed. I've always wanted a carpet cleaner for the car, stairs and sofa. As others have said it is noisy but you do expect it so it doesn't bother me. I have used it on stains and its lifted them off the carpet easily. Really good for cleaning my 2 year old sons spills. I used it on the sofa and was amazed at how much dirt came out. I've attached an "after" picture. I used it on the stairs today and it has really made a difference to the more high traffic part of the carpet, I don't expect it to ever be like new though. I used it on the dogs muddy bed, before and after photos included, and was super impressed. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is use on the mattress. We have a quite new expensive mattress and I managed to get a faketan stain on there. I would say the stain was slightly better but it took ages to dry and made some of the fabric go very bitty and bits started to shed. If you have an older mattress that this is a last resort clean for you then you may not mind so much. That's my only negative really. It's easy to assemble and clean, the vax solution smells amazing. I'd deffo recommend buying a larger bottle of this as the one it comes with is very small and doesn't last long at all. Looking forward to trying it on the car mats and carpet next. Highly recommended this product.

As a parent of a toddler, I've learned that accidents are inevitable. Unfortunately, those accidents often involve messes that are difficult to clean, especially on carpets and furniture. That's why I decided to purchase the Vax SpotWash Spot Cleaner, and I'm so glad I did! Just a few days ago, my 2-year-old got sick and threw up on our new grey carpet. I was devastated because I thought the stain would be impossible to remove. But to my surprise, the Vax SpotWash completely cleaned it up! No trace of the stain remained. Then, disaster struck again. My son had a nappy leak while sitting on my brand new £1,000 office chair. The urine left a noticeable white mark that I couldn't get rid of, even after trying several different cleaning methods. I was about to give up when I remembered the Vax SpotWash. I decided to give it a try, and I was amazed by the results! The stain disappeared completely, leaving my chair looking as good as new. I've attached before and after photos so you can see the incredible results for yourself. This machine is an absolute lifesaver for parents. It's easy to use, effective, and compact. It has saved my carpet and my expensive office chair from permanent damage. I highly recommend the Vax SpotWash to anyone who wants to keep their home clean and stain-free, especially if you have young children.

WOW!!! Just WOW!!! I’d been thinking about getting one of these for a while for my animal sofa. The sofa had all sorts of stains on it. I did a once over to see how it worked and the stains just disappeared. This was with the cleaning fluid that came with it. There was no spill on the floor. The fluid is rose but it’s not overpowering. It’s super easy to use and it’s not as big as you might think. The only thing I didn’t like is the filler for the clean water and solution side. It’s a plug on the side so it makes it difficult to fill, whereas the dirty water container top comes off. This would be easier on both sides. A small price to pay for the function. Really glad I bought it. When you think about how much you lay out to rent a rug doctor machine, you might as well spend the money on one of these and you have it to keep. Great piece of kit and really recommend it.

Brilliant works like a dream lifts the dirt out of whatever your cleaning you will be shocked at the colour of the water. You will have to change the water a few times order pending on the size I got tho the small bottle of vax cleaner on a large queen mattress and two two seaters .

Worked well in first 3 month, then notice the water spray is not working any more. I am not sure whats the problem, clean it very well but still, seem issue. But overall good product if got it during sale.

Don't bother the product has zero value for money, I regret buying this so much. Does not work at all. Does not get out any visible stains or dirt marks. Waste of money.
