It's a well made product, very solid, decent value for money. I just gave it 4 out of 5 because I thought i'd find myself using it more. It's a very niche product and i'd say you're much better off getting a V mount battery set up instead of this.

For the price, these are rock solid mounts. - I use one to mount a power bank to my camera rig to power my follow focus, and one to mount a power bank to power my portable audio recorder, and they do an excellent job of keeping the powerbank firmly in place, and the threads for the connecting screws and the connecting screws themselves have lined up well, and keep the holder flush (one is mounted back to back and one is mounted from the bottom mount). Overall - definitely recommend above velcro strapping or cable ties!

I purchased this power bank holder as a means to secure a power bank underneath my audio recorder as the internal batteries only last a few hours I wanted a way to securely connect an external battery. This item is a little different to the usual SmallRig equipment. First it arrives in a white, sealed box rather than the usual brown cardboard box and sleeve. Inside are the holder, two ¼ inch screws and an Allen wrench. The power bank holder is not the usual black finish, but more a gun-metal colour or olive as described on SmallRig web page. At 80 grams this power bank holder is lighter in weight than SmallRig’s other power bank holder which I find useful as there is less weight to carry around. Attach the holder to your rig, or in my case the audio recorder tripod mount, using a ¼ inch screw. To open you loosen the locking screw and the spring-loaded clamp automatically expands the jaws. Slide in your power bank and tighten the locking screw. This clamps the power bank battery very firmly. The clamp is a little smaller than SmallRig’s other holder so check if your power bank will fit. My 10,000 mAh power bank fitted with ease. Only downside is that there are no threaded holes on the holder so if you want to secure the USB cable coming from the battery you will need to do that via a cable clamp attached elsewhere to your rig. I hope you found this small review useful.

If like me you are somewhat addicted to Smallrig gear for your camera you will love this little add on. The battery pack holder is awesome, screw tight mechanism, fits almost every battery pack, lighter than its newer brother and generally really well designed. So why would on earth would you paint it a different colour? What gives??? All my Smallrig stuff is jet black. Dark Olive??? I didn't even read the colour when I ordered it because everyone knows Smallrig stuff is BLACK!!! The pic is very deceptive and when you know for a fact all Smallrig stuff is BLACK you never worry.... But...... I am keeping it. Because I love gadge. Small metal things are awesome. Connecting things to other things is AWESOME.... More awesome when they are BLACK.....(I hope I am making my point here). So Smallrig, do me a favour, no more DARK OLIVE. It sucks and I am not in the Military. Back to black you swine. It is awesome though, I would probably buy it again, only if it came in.........BLACK.

Needed this for use with power bank options instead of heavier v mounts for lighter run and gun filming with my two LUMIX cameras via dummy batteries for unlimited power throughout the day! Can fit on most cages/rigs.

Utilizzata per sorreggere un powerbank fissato ad un rig. La pinza esegue il proprio lavoro alla perfezione, è solida e robusta, il powerbank non si sposta assolutamente una volta fissato a dovere. Forse l'unica pecca è il costo, purtroppo gli accessori di questo tipo tendono a costare parecchio ma se poi funzionano a dovere, come in questo caso, si può chiudere un occhio. Nel complesso io la consiglio assolutamente! Attenzione solo a ciò che dovete fissare perché non supporta powerbank molto grossi. Ad ogni modo Smallrig è sempre sinonimo di qualità.

Wieso habe ich mir das nicht schon früher gekauft? Powerbank auf die Kamera montiert und schon habe ich keine Probleme mit der Stromversorgung mehr. Kurz und knapp: Es ist perfekt! Die Power Bank Halterung wird in einem kleinen Karton mit 2 Befestigungsschrauben und einem Imbussschlüssel geliefert. Somit hat man alles was man braucht dabei. Gefertigt aus Aluminium, in grau eloxiert habe ich absolut keine Bedenken über die Widerstandfähigkeit des Produktes. Durch eine kleine mit der Hand zu betätigende Schraube verstellt man die Spannweite der Klemme sodass man Powerbanks oder Festplatten mit einer Breite zwischen 53 und 81mm. Meine Ravpower Powerbank mit 22000mAh passt lockert rein und wird sicher gehalten. Meiner Meinung nach ist die Spannvorrichtung mit Schraube viel besser als eine Federklemmung. Bedenken über das herausfallen der Powerbank habe ich absolut keine. Mithilfe der zwei 1/4" Schrauben lässt sich die Halterung perfekt an einen Kamera Cage oder sonstige Montagestelle mit 1/4" Gewinden Schrauben. Ich verwende sie an eine Cheese Plate um meine Kamera zu powern. Eine Besondertheit, die ich sehr schätze ist, dass die Schrauben nicht aus der Klemme herausfallen können, wenn diese nicht montiert ist, da die Schrauben über eine Gewindeöffnung in den Slot gesetzt werden. Somit verliert man die Schrauben nicht mehr! Genial! + Top Verarbeitung + Werkzeug inklusive + Schrauben gesichert + universell einsetzbar - keine Ich würde die Halterung jedem uneingeschränkt empfehlen!
