I've had back and neck injuries to include two compression fractures that eventually contributed to kyphosis of my thoracic spine. I have been wearing both a soft collar and a posture brace in addition to daily yoga in attempt to improve in these areas - and while I felt these things were helping, the stretches did seem to contribute to increased pain. This item arrived yesterday and I used it as a "posture pole" for 15 minutes before my yoga session (lying on the half round vertically - tailbone and above to support my head, with my knees bent, feet on the floor and arms extended to my sides). I noticed after that I was then able to hold my yoga poses longer and with more ease than usual. Other than an exceptionally good yoga session - I didn't notice much of anything else noteworthy - and I didn't expect to after one use...until I woke up this morning realizing that I had zero back or neck pain! Additionally, I was shocked to discover that I slept two hours past the time I usually wake up. I actually feel rested and energized! I am incredibly optimistic of the possibilities with continued use. I wholeheartedly recommend this 36" foam half roller to anyone living with chronic back and neck pain!

Used a similar device at physical therapy for a back issue. This is comparable - very sturdy and supportive for my needs. I'm a big guy and this easily supports me. I can continue the exercises and stretches at home for a very reasonable price. It is an aid to addressing issues but pain relief? The nature of the injury and the use may cause some pain while stretching but is not detrimental to recovery.

I went to therapy for a bad spine and they used one of these for one of my important exercises. Because therapy is a bit too expensive, I do the exercises I learned from them at home. I lay my back on this and do specific exercises that strengthen my back muscles without putting downward pressure on my spine (I have lots of back spurs). The firmness is perfect for this purpose because it is very firm, gives just a little while not compressing and loosing its shape (which is very important). For the exercises that I do it is fairly comfortable and I consider it to be a first rate quality product.

I’m using this for physical therapy. It is sturdy but not hard as a rock. It also helps to stabilize you while doing particular exercises and stretches. I would recommend using this especially after proper instruction for each exercise.

They used one of these for my Mom’s physical therapy so I got her one to use at home. Works great. Very sturdy & durable. She walks on it for balance & now wveryone that visits has to try it too!! It’s holding up really well

After attending PT for a week, I asked where I could invest in one of these for my home use. My PT suggested Amazon. They delivered in 2 days & I used it when performing my exercises at home. Works great & pricing was the best!

I bought this to lay on to stretch my back muscles but it was EXTREMEMLY HARD and made my back hurt worse. This is good if you are needing something solid. Seemed to be well made and could be cut if you need it shorter.

Foam roller as described. Good quality. A bit hefty with a $10.50 price tag but hey what’s a piece of foam even worth in this day and age ?! Who knows

These are styrofoam half rollers, but not covered with any fabric. There's no flexability, but because they're hard, they do stay in place. Because they're unfinished, they can be glued or covered to place inside a chair place where you need that extra support.
