Wowwee Paper Jamz Pro Mic Series - Style 2

I purchased this for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves to sing and wanted a microphone for Christmas. The only downside is my 4 month old puppy got a hold of it and chewed the microphone cord completly in half. Needless to say, my daughter had so much fun with this I had to order another one. We didn't get a chance to hook it up to the computer and download a song, so I cant say how that particular feature worked, but from what I can tell it seemed to be a fun toy, and we are now awaiting the arrival of a new one.

I wasn't sure what to expect when i bought these. i knew i wanted a karaoke type machine for them, but they are only 5 and 6 so i didn't want anything too expensive because they wouldn't take GREAT care of it or anything. Well, they LOVED these and they were a great gift for a great price. i highly recommend if you are just wanting to get your kid something to play around with when they are singing and dancing around. you can clip it to their pants and they can run around the house singing like crazy. I got this for my 4 year old who loves to sing. She loves how you can change you voice and that it's light enough for her to carry around. In the past we had a standup micraphone that was hard for her to move from place to place and the sound quality for not good. The only thing I would change are the songs that come already downloaded. She didn't know them which was fine as you are able to download your own with the software that is provided. All around fun for the whole family especially any emerging stars!

I purchased this for the holidays for my year old, who saw it at a friend's house. It's a great value for the money, and she loves playing with it. The songs that come with it (2) are catchy. I was able to easily download the app online (free) to be able to input our own music though. The drawbacks: Some feedback when the mic is too close to the amplifier. Also we really wish it held more than 3 songs! All in all, we were impressed with its quality and features for the price.

First of all, this item is from a 3rd party seller, as I soon found out. This item advertises that one can upload 3 new songs to it and gives you the website to go to in order to do so. However, there is no such website. After some investigation with Amazon, I called Canada and spoke to an accountant for the company, who by the way asked me how I had gotten his personal number. He said the brand Paper Jamz Pro Mic Series no longer exists and that they had stopped selling it 5 years ago. Therefore, there is no instruction anywhere on how to upload songs to it. Using this solely as a mic and speaker works very well. My 3 year old granddaughter uses it and loves it! The cord is very short and doesn't really allow little hands much room to manage it. It's serving its purpose as a fun play toy for her. That's why I gave it 3 stars, because it does work, just doesn't do all it's supposed to do.

This is very user-friendly and a must-have for any Songbird in your life! They have a couple different designs and you have the ability to load your own music so that your child can sing to their favorite Tunes! He batteries last quite a long time as long as you remember to turn it off when you're done using :-) that can be quite the feet for a small child but it only takes four double a batteries. Maybe consider getting rechargeable batteries if you have a child that will most likely use it all day long! I will definitely keep this in mind for any future gifts for girls birthdays! Will definitely purchase again if my daughter's breaks as well!

I spent 2 evenings loading songs onto 3 different paper Jamz Pro Series Microphones so that ONE could be ready for use Christmas Day. The songs loaded fine, but when I played the music the sound was poor and cut in and out. There is NO WAY anyone (much less a young kid) could sing along with something that cut out many many times during each song. I didn't expect a ton from a $20 item, but did expect for it to play the 3 songs it holds in full. I made 3 calls and sent 2 email inquiries to wowwee customer support before receiving any response. A week later I received an email that suggested I exchnage the item at the point of sale. I have returned all three and will be posting this review on multiple sites. SO DISAPPOINTING! I am so glad I tried this product out before giving it to my daughter as a gift.

Shipping and arrival was a dream however it would have been nice to know batteries were needed too. For a child who has a questionable singing voice rather made her sound a little improved. Song on the machine are all unknown so the child could not sing along with it right away,however for $'s it gave the right kind of entertainment.
