Regular mug size travel mug. *by S***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 October 2012* I ordered 2 of these Contigo Aria travel mugs, the largest 600ml one and the smallest 300ml one. There wasn't much difference in price so I thought I was getting a bargain with the big one, but the truth is that it was too big for me - OK for the car on long journeys, or for a cold drink on a hot day, but too large for the daily train commute. The reason that the price is similar is that the mechanism is the same on all of them and the only difference is an inch or two more metal in the height.The smallest 300ml one is a great size for the daily commute and holds the same quantity of liquid as a regular domestic ceramic mug that you use in your home. You can put it in your bag in absolute confidence that it won't leak - these mugs are expensive but they are total quality.If you're wondering about the Contigo 'West Loop' mugs versus the 'Aria' mugs, these Aria ones have a lock on the valve. To be honest it's unlikely that you'd press the button by accident but it's nice to know when you put in your briefcase that you've minimized the risk.Other reviewers have mentioned that the drinks stay too hot - it's a fair point - but generally a good point surely! If you make a boiling hot fresh cup of tea this mug will keep it near boiling hot for about an hour, so the lesson is to leave it to cool for a few minutes before lidding it. I tested it inadvertantly this weekend by making a cup of tea and then forgetting it when I went out. So it was left in the cold kitchen for 3 hours, and upon my return the drink was still warm enough to enjoy.The only other point to note, and it's the same for any flask or travel mug, rinse out the mug and the lid mechanism as soon as you can after use because tea and coffee will eventually corrode or discolour it.I'm pleased with my purchase and am happy to recommend these mugs, especially the smallest 300ml one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely love it! *by N***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 March 2013* I bought a flask from a local shop and returned it because it was leak resistant not leak proof. What's the point of a flask which will leak when you carry it? This one is totally leakproof, holds heat well and can be drunk through the top when closed, by pressing the button. It also has a lock on the button, so it won't accidentally open when the button is pressed in a bag.
