Lip Balm Tinted Color Changing Lipstick, C04 Rainbow, 0.12 oz | Ultra Hydrating Lip Moistrurizer Lip Care with Vitamin E Nourishing For Cracked & Dry Lips

I purchased the shade "Amythyst". I've seen this clear color changing lip balms for a while, namely the "winx" brand at target and ulta. I think I tried one on at ulta and did fancy it. I wanted to buy one for a friend of mine as a Christmas present because she's been wanting one. I did some browsing and ended up going with this brand (catkin). It had the highest rating per review, and the packaging was very pleasing, we both love Asian dramas, so this Chinese brand seemed fitting. I was skeptical about if it would work, the colors looked light on the picture. Naturally, I was going to try it out first and then repurchase for my friend if it met my expectations. And oh my god it so did. First of all, my skin is of a medium complexion with olive undertones, and this showed up beautifully! The color I chose is a light pinkier color on the picture, but on my lips it's a little darker, literally just by a shade, and maybe more red. I made my sister try it out, her skin is darker than mine, by a shade or 2, she has more of a brown complexion with neutral undertones, and on her, it deposited pink, very much like the picture. I don't know the mechanism behind ph changing technology in makeup, but these are my results. Both of us loved it. Second, I don't wear makeup often, and I've gotten out of the habit of wearing any lip color. I used to wear a lot of dark colors, liquid lipsticks, and regular lipsticks, but it's such a hassle to maintain it throughout the day. So, this is such a suitable, happy medium for me. I get to wear some color on my lips without looking overkill. If it smears, the color doesn't slide all over the place. It's just so pretty and natural-looking, which I'm now obsessed with. Now, in terms of the color payoff and how long it lasts, it's almost like a stain, I notice that even if the shine of the balm goes away, there's still a light color left over. I don't find it to be dramatically buildable, you can definitely reapply, but it looks like the same shade just refreshed. Third, I'm very sensitive to the feeling of stuff on my skin. I don't like lotion, or the feel of oil on my skin, I hate gloss and most chapsticks because they tend to slide all over the place. BUT THIS BAAABBBYYYY, oooo boi ! I am so thrilled to have discovered this brand and product, I actually went on their website to buy an entire set of these. If you have severe dry lips, I don't that this really cater or advertises to those problems, but as far as an every day hydrating lip balm this goes above and beyond. It delivers a very light but nourishing feel with it being to slimy or sticky or dry. Its the goldilocks of balms in my opinion. When I have this on, I don't feel tempted to take it off like I do with others because it's just that comfortable. You don't feel it on your lips but it's there. If you've been looking to buy a clear color changing lip product, I highly suggest going with this brand. It's beautiful both in deposit and packaging; it has a magnetic closure which just feels very luxe, secure and durable. The artwork is just gorgeous, it's effective at delivering a nourishing and comfortable layer on the lips along with sporting a beautiful natural color :)

I can't get over how beautiful this product is both the container and the lip balm itself. The balm is wonderfully moisturizing and feels great on the lips. I feel it turned a very pretty, natural color once on my lips. The sparkle does not come off on the lips. The case is gorgeous and I honestly gasped when I realized the lid is magnetized. It gives a very satisfying click when you put it back on.

Gorgeous!! This is my new favorite go - to lipstick! It feels so high end! The package so beautiful. It has an Asian inspired painting on the case. And get this, it’s magnetic!!! I have a bite beauty lipstick that is magnetic and it sets itself apart from the rest of the tubes. The color is a light nude w a glimmer of shimmer throughout, I think it’s very flattering on my medium skin tone. It smells like flowers, feels like a balm, not gritty despite the glitter.. I’ll take a pic in the sun to show you. Worth every penny I’d pay $24 for this lipstick but I think I paid less than $10.. catkin is a slept on brand and this is my new signature lip color. I’m telling you, that magnetic feature, is extremely satisfying and fun..

Very pretty, came intact. Much more pigmented than expected, shimmery, turned out orange in the pictures but not orange at all in person (shade: Venus). Has a faint rose scent. Definitely buying other colors

The lipstick is absolutely beautiful. It's well made, it glides on beautifully, and it is a pretty color as described. The problem is the smell and taste. It is saturated with perfume where you can't get away from the smell when you put it on. It smells like really strong roses and it tastes the same. The product was ruined by the addition of whatever that perfume is and it's unusable. Very disappointed because the lipstick itself was very nice.

My Granddaughter was so excited to get these. She got one for Christmas and it's her absolute favorite, so she was happy I found a restock. It moisturizes so well, glides on smoothly and the color is so great. It's adorable packaging too.

Yes - the scent is a little heavy, sort of a weird floral candy, but the texture is very nice on my lips; I’m pretty picky about that. This is definitely moisturizing, which is why I wanted to try them, and it has a bit of a protective slick silicone feel to it. I got the clear ones that look as if they have glitter. I bought them out of desperation as I’ve been stuck home sick & my lips are so dry they are peeling, so I’ve just been enjoying slathering these things on my mouth and I just scared the h3ll out of myself in the mirror at 6am. I didn’t really realize they DO have a nice rosy stain to them. :) Just didn’t expect that in the reflection, very glam for a gal with a fever & covered in hero patches lol. And the cases are so very nice! I’ve paid for some high-end products that didn’t have such secure, pretty packaging. They know who they are. There’s something very satisfyingly tactile about the way the cases pop together. You want to open & apply.

Creamy, lasts a decent amount of time. Wish the tint was a bit deeper. Regret ordering it during the hottest month. First tube received was somewhat melted and broken. I am using it, refraining from twisting it out much so it doesn’t completely break off. Pretty tube design.

En labial por fuera es estupendo, precioso. Deja un color muy bonito pero tampoco es tan hidratante. Para hidratar mejor uno de la Farmacia

Farbe: CO1 Luna Das hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass mich dieser Lippenbalsam/Lippenstift so positiv überraschen würde. Eigentlich hatte ich ih nur wegen dem Aussehen gekauft, weil er gut zu meiner asiatisch angehauchten Badezimmerausstattung passt. Ich dachte nicht, dass der Lippenstift erstens eine so tolle, natürliche Farbe auf die Lippen zaubern würde (die sich verändert mit der Zeit und etwas nachdunkelt, so scheint mir; ich habe das jetzt nicht explizit nachgelesen aber ich denke der Lippenstift verändert sich mit dem PH-Wert der Haut?) und zweitens spendet er viel Feuchtigkeit. Er kommt nicht an Lippenbalsame in Apothekenqualität ran aber er schlägt sich nicht schlecht. Leider hält er nicht lange aber welches Lippenbalsam oder welcher Lippenstift tut das schon? Was ich persönlich als sehr angenehm empfunden habe ist, dass er nicht so klebrig ist und eher zart auf den Lippen ist. Der Preis ist etwas (zu) hoch aber dafür sieht er sehr stylish aus und der Magnetverschluss ist noch mal ein Sahnehäubchen oben drauf. Ich würde ihn mir trotz des Preises nochmal kaufen.

This set was a great sale price. Lovely case with magnetic lid. Smooth and long lasting balm. No flavour or scent but one was a tinted slightly and one was plain.
