Better Life Hand and Body Soap, Clary Sage, 12 Ounces, 2424J

I have major scent sensitivities, and this worked well. It is definitely unscented, and there is no masking fragrance. It's not subtly scented with a natural oil or extract which many "unscented" products inexplicably are. The soap itself has a slight smell, but it's not strong and it fades after you rinse the soap off. That's all I can ask of an unscented product-nothing is entirely without odor. It doesn't dry my hands, and I also don't get a contact reaction to it. I know we all have different sensitivities, but this one is worth a try.

We ordered this when our usual go-to brand was in short supply and could not be found anywhere. I'm glad, because the quality is better than what we'd been using for years before we found it. Some reviews are negative because the product was received with loose caps, which caused spillage in the packaging. That didn't happen to us with this item -but other liquid detergents via Amazon have arrived like that. But this doesn't reflect on the product's quality...it's a shipment problem. As compared to our former favorite, we found this product to be milder on the hands, silkier consistency yet easily rinsed...and the fresh mint smell sure beats the flowery scents so prevalent today. (We like the mint, but the sage variety is equally good so we'd buy them interchangeably).

This product is amazing. I am an artist and my paint brushes clean up perfectly with this stuff. And it smell great.

I love this soap and was pleased to find it on Amazon at a reduced price. Shipping was prompt but am disappointed that the pump cap on one of the two bottle was loose so soap leaked out of the bottle into the plastic bag. Fortunately it was not a lot of the soap but this would have been easily preventable if the bottle was checked before shipping.

Product great for those with smell sensitivity. Will buy again. Not returning but this order was not good. Top was loose and 1/3 of the soap was in the plastic bag.

This is a nice thick hand soap with a good pump. A little goes a long way and easily lathers on the hand. I like that it is fragrance free as well as natural ingredients free of anything hard on the skin like sulfate. I bought it because I was looking for a hand soap that would be gentle and non-irritating on my eczema prone hands. Other hand soaps are drying and exasperate my eczema.

Let me start this by saying that I love all of the Better Life products (except the dishwasher detergent but that's another story) Everything made by Better Life is is my go-to cleaner (try the window cleaner on your granite or quartz countertop - the best cleaner I have found and I have tried them all and I love the wood polish!) But, I digress.... I react to almost every hand soap on the market except Better Life. So I have been using them exclusively for years and often get compliments from my guests about how nice my handsoap smells. I have tried all of their handsoaps except Holiday Citrus. I was so excited when I finally snatched one up the second they became available again.. However, I was very disappointed when I received it, as Holiday Spice has almost no scent at all :( Just the barest hint of scent in the bottle and none at all when you use it. I stood there sniffing the bottle for the longest time trying to decide if it even HAD a scent beyond just faintly sweet. I finally decided that it had the barest hint of vanilla and perhaps cinnamon and thought maybe a hint of nutmeg. Now I have scent deducing superpowers but that was as far as I got without cheating and reading the back of the bottle. Turns it it is vanilla, cinnamon and cloves. But wait, even though that sounds delicious and perfect for winter, don't get excited yet, because the scent is so faint that you quite possibly might not smell anything at all. If you are able to detect ANY scent at all, then you too have superpowers, and should perhaps consider a career as a sommelier or a perfumer. I love the Clary Sage which to me smells more gingery than anything although that is not declared on the bottle. So in my opinion, if you want a seasonal Better Life hand soap, stick with Clary Sage instead. Better Life if you are reading this, PLEASE boost the scent of Holiday Spice up by about 1000%. When your sales go through the roof you can thank me by sending me a bottle or ten. You're welcome.

The soap does not smell at all! Scented soaps trigger my asthma and I have to be very careful. These are great and the price is unbeatable.

High quality skin safe natural product the whole family uses. Unfortunately both bottles leaked slightly during shipment.
