These strong, vibrant characters demands readers attention while they seduce you with their story while the fast paced, smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, excitement, turmoil and romance. Manipulations, intrigues and suspense keep readers on their toes with pulse pounding excitement building as Graeme puts his plans in motion and schemes take on a whole new meaning and adding to all that excitement is the unexpected twists that surprise readers throughout the story. The scenes are well written with vivid details that make it easy for the reader to become immersed in the characters’ lives as they live their story. Jonas is up to his usual games but by adding Graeme into the mix, things just got more complicated and more intriguing because there is no way that I could guess to just who was what up to what and what the outcome of all their scheming would be and Cat lives up to her name and gives as good as she gets which really made me chuckle a bit. Once again, the Breeds held be spellbound from beginning to end and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

A great follow-up to the last story. I absolutely love how Lora Leigh not only keeps the series going and cohesive, but how every story is stand alone but tied together. You get to catch up with old characters and gain insight into both the new and the old. As for this story, it was wonderful and as full of drama and suspense as usual. Also the sex was hot, hot, hot! There are plenty of twists and turns throughout the story that keep you reading well into the night. I definitely had a hard time putting it down once I started it. Of course, I've read every book in this series, but never once has Ms. Leigh let me down. Even her short stories are great. She is very good at setting the scene but not bogging you down with unnecessary stuff. If you haven't previously tried on of the stories in this series I'd suggest starting at the beginning just for your own fun, but you really can start anywhere in the series and not be lost. Ms. Leigh gives you enough background to seamlessly slide right in to any book In her series, something I really appreciate since there's usually a year long gap between new books. As for this book, I absolutely loved every minute of it! A rogue hero, a very reluctant heroine and so mant twists and turns it sometimes made my head spin. But I loved every minute of it. I try not to do spoilers in my reviews, so I'm sorry if you expected more but I refuse to spoil a book for anyone or anything. All I can say is read this story. Well worth reading!

I've been a fan of this series for a number of years. It does take me a while to get back into the involved plotlines whenever I do read them, since usually it's been a long time since I've read the prior book. There are quite a lot of characters to keep straight. This is a series that builds onto prior installments and has repeating characters, so it's important to read these books in order. I've been intrigued with Gideon (G), since he first appeared in this series. He is not only powerful--he's the most intelligent breed ever created. And honestly, I was hoping for more with his story simp!y because he was so unique. I was also hoping for a stronger Breed Heroine for him. Cat, for me, was a disappointment. No matter how much the Author tried to make her a sympathetic character, it just didn't work for me. She's a Bengal Breed, for goodness sake. She needed to be stronger. Unfortunately she was an insecure, weak, angst-ridden young woman who never stopped living in the past. Yes, she had a tortured and difficult past, but she should have shown at least some of the strength that the Male Breeds have shown. However, the sex was hot and the storyline has progressed. The World, as always, is fascinating and creative. And Ms. Leigh can certainly write romance. For instance-- "...locking them inside of each other's soul for an eternal heartbeat of time..." I will continue reading as long as she writes these books, as I believe that this is one of the best Feline paranormal fantasy series.

One of my favorite authors.

OMG! I haven’t even finished this book yet and I am writing a review! I quit reading Lora’s books for the past couple of years because of the teenage sex scenes and over use of the word “juices”. I love the sexual tension and spicy scenes in my romance books. But the sex scenes of her’s were repetitive and juvenile. But something happened in this book!! I am 3/4 of the way though and the sexual tension and scenes are spicy and yet adult in their writing. I find I am loving the sex and not skimming over the scenes to get to the meat of the story. I am devouring each touch, thought, and sensual experience as well as throughly enjoying the storyline.🥰

Love, love, love this series! My only regret is that I'm just about on the last book! I hope that Ms Leigh will continue on writing about the Breeds, and grace us with more books in this series! She has the ability to bring us in to the world of breeds where we feel a part of the whole concept. I truly never want it to end! I would recommend starting from the beginning of the series, at the very first book (Tempting The Beast), and continue on from there! I love seeing characters from previous books interact with new members, especially ones you aren't quite ready to see go yet! Lol Highly recommend this series!

Well written. An excellent read. I thoroughly enjoyed this latest installment of the Breeds series. I adored this one and it just gets better and better with each new story. I can`t wait for the next one (I hope it's Judd's story). Well done Lora superbly done.

Love it. Great books love the never ending drama. Can't wait for the latest book. I'm very impatient a waiting the new book. I wish the series never ending.

This was a fantastic book. If you like this series you'll love this book. This was Gideon's and Cat's story and it doesn't disappoint. The ending left me intrigued and I can't wait to see what happens next.
