Scary bad
2 stars is a liberal award. It only represents the design. It is a pretty good idea. I have installed these on three different monitors and they have fallen off within six hours in every case. The adhesive does not hold and it quickly becomes even less sticky so that there is no point in putting them back on the monitors. My most recent monitor acquisition, a Viewsonic 2757 has a very flat bezel, so I thought it would hold. I am writing this review because my headphones just slammed sown on the table next to the monitor, scattering everything and making me jump half out of my chair. Recommend you not purchase this alternative as it is essentially valueless, and sometimes scary. If you are faint of heart, don't even think about it.

Failed after time
Used these to hold headphones. The hangers both fell off after some time, tearing the foam up too. It's rather annoying to have your headphones come crashing down. The hanger has raised edges so the foam sits down into hanger but it doesn't make perfect contact with the hanger itself. The weight of headphones was apparently too much for them. The other plastic hanger that is sold here, it uses the removable 3m adhesive patch, that one is just a straight vertical. That one holds better and doesn't come loose. I use the simpler one in another room to hold another set of headphones. Those are still working. This hanger... not so much. Heck, I thought the horizontal notch at the top would make this stick better... but no it's terrible.

Clean it well before you install it!
The glue on the stick didn't last long, and now it keeps looking like it's falling. I've tried changing the sticker, but I think that the issue is with the black pad that comes with it. I'll try to bond it without the black pad.Edited a/13/2017I believe it was because I didn't clean it properly before I installed. I changed the sticker, removed the pad, and now it's working. They do have a great customer service!I recomend it!

Great idea with poor implementation
This was my first attempt to secure my headphones. I got this and secured it to my monitor. The idea was solid. It has a sticky pad that connects to the top and side. Then you hang the item. It worked well but about two weeks in the adhesive gave way and my headphones tumbled to the floor.I used my squarest monitor. I had good contact with the tape. I made sure the area did not get hot. but it just gave way and had no adhesion anymore.

Needs Improvement
Recently bought this because of the cheap cost and simple setup. First day having it was yesterday, the moment I attempted to put my headset on top, it fell, over and over again, now I'm back to throwing my expensive headset onto my desk because this thing won't hold. Now this may have been my own fault for not putting enough research into this (which I normally do) but for one, the adhesive needs to be stronger no matter what, it's basically only strong enough to hold it's own and that's that. I'm not going to lie the Astros A40 TR is not the lightest headset on the market but it seems to have a good, manageable weight. Not to mention the top headband does NOT fit into the holder, which I know is my fault for not checking something as simple as dimension, but c'mon.

"Not a go"
I had stuck this on my 3/4" vinyl coated desk, and numerous times my headphones (corsair vengeance and Focal Spirit one headphones) caused the hooks to un-adhere from the desk, sending my headphones to the ground where a few damages were caused (poor focals). i am tempted to screw into the desk, but that would defeat the purpose. IMO 9/10 would not be stoked.A screw mount doesn't sound too bad right now :)

Great Customer Service...
These things are a complete joke! They are so tiny and not good for holding expensive headphones. They are cheap plastic and have sharp corners which leave imprints on my Corsairs. This is a total misrepresentation by the pictures!******UPDATE******I want to give an update and say that this place has given me a full refund and great customer service.

Great and Simple to Use Hanger
No complaints, simple and easy to install. Plus you get extra's which is always nice. For anyone considering purchasing these hangers be aware of the dimensions of your headset. Some headsets will fit perfectly almost like they were made for these hangers while others, not so much...

Did not last 2 weeks.
The adhesive failed in less than 2 weeks which is diabolical considering they are marketed as headphone hangers. I had Sennheiser 598s on it which are very lightweight headphones (600g boxed weight, the hooks are supposed to be able to hold 1KG). They were left stuck on for over 24 hours before adding the headphones to the hook. Fortunately the headphones only fell to the desk and didn't roll off. I can't recommend these to anyone.UPDATE: The seller contacted me and quickly sent out a new product for re-evaluation. I cleaned the surface with some alcohol based solution and reapplied and left for 24hrs to stick. It hasn't been 2 weeks yet so I'm not changing the score just yet. I have noted a flaw with this design as I have 2 different manufacturer monitors and neither of them have flat right angle edges so they cannot sit flush as shown in the picture. If this one does fall off I may try and mount it so the hook is extending from the back of the monitor instead.UPDATE 2: Around 2 weeks again I notice the hook has come away from the monitor, it's actually the adhesive side which is attached to the padding which is failing and not the side attached to the monitor. I have included a picture to show this. So I thank the retailer for getting in touch and sending out another but these just do not last very long.

It's good and sturdy.
I did laugh when I heard about people trusting their 1,000 pounds headphones to a plastic holder and not following the instructions.Do what I did - stick it on, wait till next day, then get some gorilla tape and stick this over the top. Sturdy as anything and holds the headphones with no chance of coming away (unless someone decides to rip it off).

Not bad
The adhesive that comes with it does not stick for long. After 15 minutes both my hooks fell off, I have had to reinforce with gorilla ashesive and only then will it stay in place.EDIT: Apparently the adhesive has to be applied to the flat surface for 24 hours before use, then it should stick properly, this may be common knowledge to some but it should have been noted with the product. Other than this mishap, the product does what it is supposed to do very well.

As much use as a chocolate teapot
The adhesive strips that come with these headphone hooks are useless and have stopped being sticky. This lack of adhesion has now broken an expensive pair of Sony headphones as they ended up crashing to the desktop when the adhesive strips failed.

after one day they fell off
When first i used the hanger it was fine looked good and felt sturdy enough but by the morning the headphones were on the floor the sticky pads that came with the hanger failed, the sticky pads are still attached to my desk but they fail to stick to the inside of the plastic hanger
