These are the only dressings that stopped my son’s pump from going off a night due to occlusion alerts. The extra cushion takes off the pressure, they are super comfortable and pain free when removing, which is important when you have to change them constantly or check underneath a lot. They are also waterproof! I can’t even tell you how much money I wasted trying other dressings. It was expensive too, and I used half a roll of tape every day. It was a constant battle and very time consuming. I just wanted to rest after invasive procedures, but instead I was always struggling with wound care every day for weeks.One day I tried this bandage (my cancer doctor gave it to me) and it was a GAME CHANGER! I love how I can clean my wound(s) and end the daily wound care process by easily and quickly sticking this on. It’s hassle free. It doesn’t take much time or effort. It doesn’t cause any breakouts (a miracle because I break out to everything!) It stays in place- even if I’m moving, sleeping, or wearing clothes. I can actually have mobility and it stays in place! These come in different sizes too.They are “pricey,” but when I calculate the cost of silicone tape and nonstick gauze… I actually think these bandages match the other costs, or are cheaper.Lastly, I am a disabled military veteran. I have been purchasing bandages out of my own pocket. I recently asked my USA VA primary care doctor if the VA can write a prescription for these…. and my request was APPROVED!!!!
