Do you leave in hair and then wash out after so much time, or is this a shampoo and then apply to towel dried hair, then style?

I shampoo, then towel dry my hair, then I apply a small amount of the Argan Oil Conditioner and work it through my hair with my fingers and a comb. My hair is very damaged and dry from chemotherapy, so I don't usually blow dry, but you can and style as you normally would. Another thing I do that is helping a lot is, once my hair is dry, I brush it several times throughout the day with a natural fiber boar bristle brush. This works the oils from the Argan Oil Conditioner, as well as the natural oils your scalp produces, through your hair. This routine has really helped improve the condition of my hair and it is beginning to feel much more like the soft silky hair I had before cancer and chemo.
