Are these wipes vegan and cruelty-free ?

Yes they are but watch out they have a ton of gluten!

Why has the price went up so high??

Agreed. My last order shows price paid $7.76, Now for the exact same item, it's over $18. The explanation provided in the previous posted answer does not justify such a price hike.

The package says 100% plant-based materials. Free of chemical binders, no added dyes or fragrances.
