Review: Buy it, it’s worth it. - This is my 4th or 5th one. This is the only one I’ve bought to replace one I’ve bought. THEY JUST WORK. Simple, This one started 2nd kick and barely needed idle adjust. (1425ft) The one I bought 8 years ago finally gave me to much too trouble to deal with from a sticky float needle.
Review: CRF50F, Does Not Fit Correctly Or Run Properly - I know I shouldn't be surprised when buying one of these on desertcart cause they are always hit or miss. This one was a BIG miss! Bought for a Honda CRF50F dirt bike. This was the ONLY one I found that didn't have offset mounting holes in relation to the intake port. Well, the mounting holes did NOT line up with the intake (holes were too wide, outward) so I had to grind the hell out of them to widen them inward, so they WOULD line up. After nearly two hours of doing that modification, I finally get the thing mounted up. Turn on the fuel and it starts pouring out the overflow tube and the rear of the carb (float needle doesn't seal). Tried starting it and it did actually run, but poorly. Finally got the float to seal and it stopped leaking but spent another hour trying to tune the carburetor to run smoothly, and that just WASN'T happening. Ran like crap the whole time. Either it would idle high and not accelerate, or it would accelerate, and then die at idle. I am no stranger to these things, been working on engines for 40yrs. Finally gave up on it and used this one for parts to fix the original one! I would not waste your time on this for this application.

I know I shouldn't be surprised when buying one of these on Amazon cause they are always hit or miss. This one was a BIG miss! Bought for a Honda CRF50F dirt bike.
