Maroma Fragrance, Patchouli, .34 Fluid Ounce

I LOVE patchouli but its hard to find in stores. If you do, it's watered down and not worth the money. This scent is wonderful! Not too strong, very soft but potent. It stays with you all day.

This perfume smells good, just not the "manly" Patchouli I was hoping for. Stuff is crazy hard to find.

I bought this fragrance two other times. It was a fabulous patchouli fragrance that would last and last and smell clean and natural. I bought it again in January of this year because I was getting low on the bottle I had. I didn’t realize it would take me until the beginning of June to finish up my previous bottle. So a couple days ago, I opened up the box it was in and noticed that the color of the perfume was very dark brown. It reminded me of old fragrances that turn when they are subjected to light and heat. It also smelled strange. Similar to the fragrance I loved, but not the same. I did wear it once and it made me feel a bit sick to my stomach so I was glad when it disappeared almost immediately. I figured I had no chance of getting a refund, or replacement but I thought I would try. I explained that I had kept it in the dark cool place all this time and this is a response that they gave me. “We are sorry to inform you that this return is outside the 90 day limit established by Amazon. Also Maroma updated the ingredients and fragrance so a replacement (or if you reorder a new one) will likely be similar to the bottle you just opened. Feel free to order a new one to try it if you like. But we have heard similar issues from other customers. Sorry we couldn't help you on this order.” I don’t like badmouthing in a review but I think others should know it’s not the same fragrance it was and it just smells strange!

It's no longer in the pictured bottle with orange label and although the scent is the same it no longer carries throughout the day and fades within a couple hours. I'm guessing the recipe change is due to 2026 inflation.

So I'm super picky about perfume, my go to scent is L'Artisan Patchouli Patch. IAM always looking for a much less expensive option and I think I found it. It is very similar to Patch maybe a bit heavier on a vanilla. Having said that, I am not a fan of vanilla, but somehow it works in this scent. I really like this stuff!

My wife is very picky, but this product she can’t get enough of as the scent lasts along time. Have tried WAY more expensive patchouli products but keep coming back to this one. If that’s a scent you love give this a try - doubt you’ll be disappointed!

I love this scent! I wear patchouli oils that are strong and fragrant... this one is a little lighter and smoother. I love having it as an option! Just to change things up a bit. Beautiful fragrance!
