Old Holland is great paint..nice and stiff and this Yellow Deep Ochre is rich in color and great to work with.

One of my favorite Old Holland paints. Old Holland is, in my opinion, the best oil paint manufacturer. It is pigment LOADED, ie, the ration of pigment to linseed oil is higher than just about any other maker. It may need to be ‘unpacked’ more than other more oily paints. Ultramarine in general and Rose Ultramarine in particular are mellow blenders. They won’t overwhelm your palette. Old Holland’s Rose Ultramarine gives a gorgeous rose/magenta tone - and like I mentioned - won’t overwhelm or take over a blend.

Love this color by Old Holland for oul painting light to medium skin tones. As a base for adding reds, browns, oranges, it’s fantastic.
