TOOGOO(R) RJ45 Cat5 Network Wire Cable Punch Down Cutter Stripper 5 Pcs

If I knew it was coming from China I would not have ordered it. Yes, I should have looked it up. Hours after ordering and seeing the delivery date, it was too late to cancel as it stated it had already been shipped. Doubtful. Took a month. The product works but it is of little lasting or durable quality.

I expected cheap, and these seem sturdy enough for the price. But the wire stripper for the smallest size wire barely works on cat-5 wires, which is what it is designed for. It needs to be a bit smaller. I find myself trying to rotate the tool to cut the insulation all the way around, or bend the wire to a 90 degree angle, and sometimes I can get it to work that way. But most of the time I am frustrated and it stretches the insulation without stripping it.

i use these everyday stripping data cables, it is a "must have tool"

Cheaply made but cheap enough for me to place all over the basement, garage, toolbox, etc.Gets the job done and none have broken yet. Great value for the price.

Coming from an network/electrical background. I've bought a couple of bags of these as disposable wire-strippers for flat twin and earth too and they make a much neater and quicker job of cable ends than any other tool. On RJ45 modules the expensive punchdown/trim tools don't always do a great job of pushing the Cat5E/Cat 6 cable cores home into the module blades, so the punchdown blades are great for just helping them to the base of the blades.

Great as cable strippers and when my punch down tool isn't effective these things send the wires in deep. The blade of the punch down end sometimes comes a little loose but that's not much of a problem. Definitely worth getting.

I've started to treat these as consumables as they tend to "go walkies" as my collegues find how useful they are.They will make a neat job of network cables, alarm cables, small electronics and automotive cables.

used these in the past cheap way of stripping outer covering of CAT5 etc network cables - the punch down tool part works OK for small jobs but I would use a dedicated tool that cuts excess wire off at the same time if I was doing a lot (patch panel with 24 cables)

Great way to cut the external sheath without taking out the inner cables!

Simplicity by design. Strips cat5 and punches down too. Great.

Cercavo uno spellafili per cavi di rete più comodo di quello che giò possedevo e mi sono imbattuto in questi spellafili piccoli manegevoli in più è anche inseritore di solito utilizzo pezzi separati pinza crimpatrice e inseritore o solo forbici e inseritore, questo prodotto lo sto utilizzando e al momento posso dire funziona bene basta il taschino per tenerlo con se, veloce da utilizzare, direi ottimo acquisto, lo consiglio a chi ha spesso a che fare con le prese RJ45 da cablare. Los he pedido por su precio. Tengo uno y funciona bastante bien y he pedido esto para poder tener uno en cada maletín y no tener que preocuparme de si me lo dejo atrás. Producto simple y sencillo pero eficaz foto aún no los he recibido pero espero que sean igual que el que tengo

valgono esattamente i 50 cent che li pagate cadauno... la plastica ha un buon feeling al tatto ma risulta scarsa e leggermente fessibile, mentre le mollettte sono troppo dure e difficilmente permettono di far passare un cavo senza infilarlo direttamente nel foro adatto. inoltre la lama risulta troppo sporgente e incide leggermente i cavi interni. Consigliato l'acquisto solo considerando il prezzo bassissimo, se avete bisogno di lavorare in 5 persone alla rete aziendale ed il massimo che avete per mano è una forbice da elettricista. Condivido con tutte le rencensioni. Ho fatto questo acquisto perchè aveva un prezzo irrisorio e quando mi sono arrivati a casa pensavo fosse un prodotto scarso; quando l'ho provato invece sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Nei cavi di rete cat6 segna solo la guaina senza rovinare i fili a differenza di un prodotto che avevo comperato, più costoso che mi segnava sempre i fili interni.

Per una persona amatoriale come me vanno benissimo per cimpare gli inserti rj45 per la rete domestica. Bisogna fare un po di fatica per fissare i cavetti ma per il resto fanno il loro lavoro.

Ottima taglierina per pelare i cavi ad un prezzo davvero conveniente. Unico neo, per cui do solo quattro stella e il trasporto, poiché viene spedita direttamente dal fornitore in Cina. Infatti mi è arrivato dopo circa due mesi.
