Review: Tasty - This is delicious. I've put some in a shaker bottle and this morning I made an omelet with cheese, spinach and onion. I sprinkled a bit of this in the whisked eggs. My omelet was so good. I make and freeze a lot of soup when fresh vegetables are in season here. I will be using this in some of my soups.

**Q: is this product non GMO?**
A: I haven't bought but am shocked it is GMO since that is nowhere in the description or in the photos. "All natural" is not a legal term but it misleads the consumer into thinking this is gmo free. It is too late for many of you unfortunately but if anyone has purchased this recently because of the false advertising I would contact Amazon customer service for a refund.

**Q: Does this product contain MSG?**
A: Isn't "Yeast Extract" another NAME for MSG??? It seems there is HIDDEN "MSG" in the ingredients... :(

**Q: How long is the shelf life?**
A: I can't give a definably concise answer. It does not provide a made on date, but on my bottle of this broth base is a Best By Date of April 2016, so that would indicate that the shelf life is quite long. I am a frequent purchaser of the Orrington Farms Soup Bases and I have never had any of it go bad. I even use it when I make my holiday gravy and my stuffing. It makes it all better, and when I use it for my rice dishes, or my soups, it is wonderful. I even use it in my Fo Meats that I create.

A: Hi Nellie,  this is a very flavorful vegan stock.  INGREDIENTS: Maltodextrin, Salt (includes Sea Salt), Yeast Extract, Dehydrated Onion, Spice (includes White Pepper, Celery Seed, Turmeric (Spice & Color), Rosemary), Dehydrated Carrot, Dehydrated Garlic, Dextrose, Natural Flavor, Parsley, Spice Extract.

Great product for making Vegan Soups! I was cautious about making my recipes too salty, but after 24hrs my soup mellowed and was great! Wide mouth container makes it easy to scoop out with a tablespoon measure. Initially used making a split pea soup, I then added it to other soup recipes which gave all ‘depth’ of flavor. Versatile addition to your recipes. Sodium content decreases when you’re making a big pot of soup. I used 3 Tablespoons in a pot of 8 servings. No bad ingredients either.
